First official release of this one-of-a-kind gem by Argentinean progmeisters Alas, in a strictly limited edition of 300 copies, with a newly designed (and band-approved) back cover. 'Pinta Tu Aldea,' recorded in 1977, and formerly released by EMI in 1983, belongs to the cohort of outstanding artworks that sound as fresh and relevant today, as when they were originally recorded. Here, Alas digress from their ELP-esque affinities which permeate their debut album, in quest for a unique sound that would blend for the first time the avant tango idiom of Piazzolla with the multilayered prog arrangements of Gustavo Moretto, with a helping hand from Carlos Riganti and Pedro Aznar. 'Pinta Tu Aldea' laid the very foundational building block of an eclectic sub-genre, namely, avant-tango/prog jazz and folk fusion. This has nothing to do with tango for purist tango lovers, obviously, but with a freeform adaptation of tango instrumentation and composition paths to the exigencies of to the exigencies of progrock in conversation with jazz-fusion, folk and electronics, culminating in an expressionist landscape of unparalleled virtuosity, a bedazzling puzzle of motifs that might be rearranged ad infinitum in a maze of ever-shifting porous boundaries. This is hardly tango you can dance to, but surely tango to headbang to, inasmuch as cabaret metal might hardly qualify for cabaret enthusiasts. This is tango's unabashed unfettering from its formalist constraints and its squirmish takeover in a hybrid cosmopolitan appropriation.

Some will know this moment: suddenly everything is clear. When Lulu (Electric Moon) and Oli (ex-Urlaub in Polen) bump into each other at a concert in the legendary Vortex Surfer music club in Siegen, they both know that same evening: We are a band. They tell Falko, who has just destroyed the club with his instrumental post-metal band Sarkh. Just a few months later, the first songs were arranged during the first rehearsals - fragments of poetry and word play written by Oli, melodic
lines and ideas that were taken up by the band and subsidized and refined on the respective instruments. The debut 'White Clouds' was created in less than a year - recorded, mixed and mastered in Falko's underground recording studio Institut Für
Angewandten Krach. During that time, the band attends one of the last concerts of the wonderful noise post-math rock band Shellac in Amsterdam. All three are equally deeply impressed and moved by this show and incorporate Steve Albini's spirit into their debut, which they ultimately dedicated to him. Added to this is their very own drift - pain and hope, the unconditional will of rock'n'roll, depth and steep flight, highly dynamic, playful, hypnotic-driving passages and repeated melodies with resonance, as well as the connection between the three musicians, promise a debut and live concerts with a yeah factor.

DONOVAN - THE HURDY GURDY MAN
Donovan wrote and recorded much of 'The Hurdy Gurdy Man' in late 1967, not long after recording the songs that would form 'A Gift From A Flower To A Garden.' The rest of 'The Hurdy Gurdy Man' was recorded in April 1968, after he visited Rishikesh in India to study Transcendental Meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. John Lennon, Cynthia Lennon, George Harrison, Pattie Boyd, Paul McCartney, Jane Asher, Ringo Starr, Mia Farrow, Prudence Farrow and Mike Love were there as well. Harrison wrote a verse for 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' when they were in India, but it was cut from the studio version in order to ensure that the song was not overly long for a single.

The first release from the new ITT archive reissue series is 2018's 'Autodidact.' Originally released on a 10" lathe cut by Ack Ack Ack Records in Feb 2018. Heres a bit about the record in Oli's own words: "I recorded the bulk of this record over a weekend in January 2018, in the midst of a very minor breakdown that was to last for pretty much the entire year. I was living in a big house all on my own, smoking too much and not really seeing any people. Happy days indeed. It was tracked in the back room of 97 Hambledon Road, Middlesbrough using two questionable microphones, a broken HH 100 amp, my friend's drums and a Tascam DP08 (that wasn't to see the year out, RIP 2009-2018) When I was done, Robbie came round and recorded a ton of violin drones through my amp and I remember feeling like I'd gone into a trance a few times, then Ben recorded his parts at home and sent them over. Mixed and mastered the same night - I released it myself a month later as a lathe cut 10" and then promptly moved on. I listened to the album for the first time in years to write this sleeve note and I think it is possibly the closest I've ever got to capturing the sound I hear in my head - I love how grubby and cavernous it sounds, claustrophobic and swirling - the track 'Autodidact' I have recorded 4 more times since this version and I've never got that sound back. 'Be As Good To Others As They Are Not To You' starts as a mystery. A piece of tangible vinyl with often transient and evanescent content; sound appearing and fading such that you can lose certainty as to whether it emanates from the record or from out in the street. The music measured and atmospheric; a rural psychedelia on the cusp between folk and country; gnomic lyrics, meditating on loss as a stage in the cycle of nature, with a strong impression of a patient, unforced gestation.
The sleeve has a stark beauty; the front being a fine piece of John Hurford frontier art, akin to that of Jeff Horsey's 'Rattlesnakes And Heartstrings.' There is no legend and nothing on the spine either. The back shows two rustic, bearded gentlemen with small guitar, a pump organ, and an ancient zither; there are song titles but they're barely decipherable.
This pair are Jens Unossun and Arne Jonasson. Jens is a founder member of The Spacious Mind, a notable Swedish ensemble who, for nigh on three decades, have been releasing memorable psychedelic music. They famously accompanied Tom Rapp, of Pearls Before Swine, at his Terrastock appearance in London in 1999. Jonasson is a regular collaborator with Jens on such side-trips as The Holy River Family Band. They're the sole performers on six of the eight tracks here; Jens singing and playing keyboards, Arne on various stringed instruments, and both adding percussion. The other two - 'Sweet Home Blues (Redneck Dumbfuck Blues)' and 'Green Was The Day (Bottom Of The Well)' - see them joined by the Head Country Hoedowners - Snosun and Aarnson Jones, Black Owl, and Dave Hell - and the presence of these acclaimed purveyors of outlaw mutation boogie signal changes in mood. The Jones Brothers also serve as producers and arrangers.

'Suikyo' documents a first-time meeting between three Japanese

Recorded at Permian on the 29th of January, 2023, it's a stunning, forty-minute long improvisation of rare artistic sympathy. Notably, it was the first time the trio had performed together, though Masubuchi and Suzuki have prior performed as a duo; on the evening itself, the trio performance was preceded
by solo sets from Suzuki and Tomo, which served as a kind of introduction, of sorts, to the broader aesthetic visions of two of the musicians on 'Suikyo.'

Modulo 1000 is one of Brazil's famous progressive-psych rock bands of the early 1970s. Their only album (from 1972) became legendary in the collectors scene as one of the best South American records of all times besides Laghonia, Emiliano Zapata, Traffic Sound or Opus Alfa. As Luiz Simas (organ) remembers: "The music of Modulo 1000 had its own appeal to an audience that wanted a heavy, raw, experimental, psychedelic sound. Our kind of music did not make it to the radio stations. It was too wild. The distribution of the record was done in a very limited way. The record label directors, which probably didn't understand or even didn't like our music, did zero promotion for it." This version comes on 180gr vinyl, in handmade extra-heavy triple-gatefold sleeve with the outrageous original cover artwork, maybe the best album cover ever! For once playing the game instead of trying to reinvent it, this 10-song album of tunes is clearly a reaction in some way to too much architecture and too many grand visions, and dials the music down to more comprehensive and digestible sizes than have been the band's métier lately. Motorpsycho have always been about the balance between hard and soft, electric and acoustic, big and small, light and shade - and now the time was right for a lighter touch to balance the scales. Yang to the Yin of earlier, more epic works ('N.O.X.,' 'The Crucible,' and 'Chariot Of The Sun'), this is also an album that is relatively easy on the ears, and that actually works really well with a cup of tea at noon. 'Yay!' was produced by Reine Fiske and Lars Fredrik Swahn (Dungen, Melody's Echo Chamber, The Amazing et al), and their production work brings a sweet Swedish psych edge to the album, giving it a lysergic tinge and charging what could easily have been a bit too 'backporchy' with an electric vibe that lifts it out of the often staid singer/songwriter genre, but still keeping the intimacy intact.
While as ever clearly drawing on inspiration from late '60s/early '70s heroes, 'Yay!' is as indebted to earlier iterations of Motorpsycho as anything else, and will be recognizable to fans of vintage Motorpsychodelia as well as a breath of fresh air to newer Psychonauts that only ever heard the heavy progressive side of the band. Reactions ranging from 'WTF?' to 'Finally!' are expected. Use your ears! Keeping things unpredictable and weird since 1989, there is only one Motorpsycho. Edition on milky clear with red smoke vinyl.

It's an all instrumental Turkish psych-funk album, filled with classic beats and breaks, that still inspires long time fans and first time listeners alike. Only a handful of copies from the original pressing are known to exist, making this reissue a welcome addition to any record collection. 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' tour began on January 20th 1972 at the UK's Brighton Dome, and concluded almost two years later at London's Rainbow Theatre, on November 4th '73. Covering the UK, US, Europe and Japan, there were two separate legs promoting the album, one in 1972 before the record's release and another in 1973 afterwards, together covering 128 shows. Pink Floyd first took the tour to the USA on April 4th 1972, and stayed there for a month. They went back for another jaunt in September '72, when they also performed 2 shows in Canada. By March 1973, the band were back in the States, and on 15th of the month, played at Philadelphia's Spectrum, where they put on one of the entire tour's best concerts. The 'Dark Side' set from this show - plus a couple of encores from the Floyd back catalogue - were recorded for live broadcast by WNEW FM Philadelphia and transmitted across the local area. This 2LP set now features this entire broadcast on vinyl for the first time, allowing fans to hear this remarkable gig, in many cases, for the first time. Comes on clear vinyl.

"Fans of the Kosmische sound rejoice as sonic pioneers Dom Keen and Jonathan Parkes return with another instalment of their essential record series. I found my way to Studio Kosmische via Parkes' Korb project. Whilst I am admittedly tardy to the party, I'm nonetheless smitten by the sounds your about to enjoy in the grooves of this here record. The album is split into two musical journeys across its two sides. 'The Rites Of Saturn' starts as a tribal dance before the song enters a black hole and the sounds of the cosmos permeate the speakers. We drift along for a spell enveloped in the calm of the never-ending expanse before emerging back where we started. The drums welcoming us back to the dance. I get lost in this track every time and it sends me running to the turntable to flip the record to continue the journey. Side B finds us 'Beyond The Circle Of The Fixed Stars.' This is what I'd deem a groovy little number. The minimal bass trades licks with the guitar before a synth line kicks in. Check out the drums by the way. Gloriously busy but never intrusive. They absolutely steal the show for me. Another journey of a track, it transforms before your ears into this mellow, pastoral acoustic jam. It really does feel welcoming and almost like a homecoming. If you've been following Studio Kosmische then you'll know the quality these guys produce. If, like me, this is your first foray then my dear listener you're in for a treat. 'Lean Into The Breeze' is Sweet Chariot's second album, but it's their first for Who Can You Trust? Records. These songs were tracked and mixed on a vintage Tascam 388 analog eight track by producer and recording artist Walker Phillips. Though the band's eponymous debut flirted with '70s inspired California country rock, this album finds the foursome dialing down the Gram Parsons and turning up Graham Parker. 'Lean Into The Breeze' is still rooted in rustic tones, but the songwriting comes from a more modern take on British pub rock, jangly guitar pop and hard throttled boogie jams. Influenced by such bygone bands as Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grease Band, The Byrds and Big Star, Sweet Chariot also found themselves inspired by Teenage Fanclub, GospelbeacH, Shannon And The Clams, Endless Boogie, and Chris Robinson, who along with Isaiah Mitchell, jumped up on stage with the band in 2018. Sweet Chariot has also shared stages with NRBQ, Mother Hips, The Flamin' Groovies, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Jesse Dayton, Beachwood Sparks, Allah-Las and the late, great Pegi Young. Sweet Chariot comprises singer/guitarist Eric Shea (Hot Lunch, Mover) and Planes Of Satori drummer Chris Labreche - both from the bygone band Parchman Farm. They also landed bass player Doran Shelley, a former member of The Cramps and Nik Turner's Hawkwind. Ride The Blinds' frontman Chris Guthridge completes the band with shared singing duties and top-shelf lead guitar playing.

True acid wizards of the 1980s/1990s psychedelic underground TreaTmenT performed at Stonehenge Free Festival and at squats and clubs all over London including the now legendary Alice In Wonderland, The Crypt and Club Dog where they assaulted the minds of those present with their unique and somewhat terrifying blend of '60s psychedelia and '70s space rock, all liberally spiked with a questioning punk attitude. Performing with Dr & The Medics, Ozric Tentacles, The Magic Mushroom Band, Naz Nomad and The Nightmares and other luminaries of the neo-psychedelic space rock revival, TreaTmenT were an integral part of the scene and possibly the most psychedelic band of them all. Hardcore to the max, the band insisted on performing in a psychedelicised state, looking like a cross between Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come and early Pink Floyd and often with a lightshow. Firmly fixated on taking their audience on the trip of a lifetime TreaTment consisted of Adam Blake (Jacket Xerxophon) on guitar and vocals, Gordon Leach (Gordon Zola) on further guitar and vocals, Clive Leach (Evil C. Live, Ron Number, Curtis Vile) on bass/trombone, Paul Ross (The Big Beat, Mr Raagh) on drums/percussion and Paul McWhinnie (Mutant) on keyboards, noises and vocals. They were without doubt a live phenomenon, and although they released a couple of singles, cassettes, a live album and a studio album - 'Cypher Caput' - on the Delerium label (home to Porcupine Tree), they never really managed to commit their mind-blowing magic to vinyl. Now, nearly 20 years after it was recorded TreaTment are releasing a limited-edition double vinyl LP of their second studio album 'How Much Is Enough?' in memory of guitarist Gordon Leach who sadly passed away in 2021. The album was intended to be released on Delerium in 2000 but never was and whilst one track 'Keep Ahead' appeared on the Cherry Red box set 'Last Daze Of The Underground - Delerium Records Anthology' in 2011 nothing else has seen the light of day until now. Fans of the band will note cornerstones of their live set such as the wondrously trippy 'What The Hell To Do,' the humorous swipe at the music press 'Hate The Band,' the melodic keyboard swirling 'Restless,' the frenetic guitar cross fire of 'No Understanding' and the nihilistic nightmare 'Blot Out.' Housed in a gatefold sleeve packed with photos and memorabilia as well as for the first time the full history of the band and limited to only 300 on 180 gram vinyl 'How Much Is Enough?' will no doubt be seen in the future as one of the landmark releases of the '80s/90s neo-psychedelic revival. Very Paranoia formed in 2018 with the express intent of delivering short, sharp shocks of electrified rock and roll that simultaneously heralded both a "war on music" and offered a way forward using the scattered shards left behind on the sticky, rickety fields of battle and trapped in the structurally unsound masonry memory of those walls still standing around us. Composed of veterans of the sonic conflicts from the Annihilation Time/Lecherous Gaze/Hot Lunch/Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound divisions, the four of them huddled together in their San Francisco rehearsal room where they quickly hammered out an arsenal of crude missives designed to fire as roaring missiles into the heart of 2019. After whetting their attack, Very Paranoia removed from their squalid hovel and harangued an unsuspecting, but susceptible public with 25-minute blasts set off around their local strongholds. The band then traveled nearly 1000 miles to the Sonoran Desert where they set up camp at Midtown Island Studio in Tucson, Arizona. The Island's sole occupant and aural wizard Matt Rendon of the Resonars captured 15 tracks over three 10-hour stretches. 12 of these tracks were then transmitted to Tim Green at Louder Studios in the Valley of Grass, California, for mastering in early 2020 for the debut album on Who You Can Trust? Records.

Four totally whacked out, deep cuts that defy any hopes of genre pigeonholing; a deliciously dazzling moulding of ambitious grooves and ideas from the wonderful Wet Tuna. 'Renoir Of The Toys' is a deep dive into the world of Youri Kun, the nom de plume of Japanese guitarist, singer and
songwriter Hiroshi Nar. It follows a similar compilation,
'Unheld Ball,' released in 2022 on Japanese label Inundow; like that album, 'Renoir Of The Toys' draws from the rich catalogue
of outsider psych-garage and rock recorded by Youri Kun over the past two decades. Deeply wired into the history of Japanese underground music, Nar was a founding member of legendary
'70s outfit Datetenryu, and a member of both Brain Police (Zuno Keisatsu) and Les Ralllizes Dénudés (Hadaka No Rallizes), appearing on the latter's '77 Live.' After going to ground during the 1980s, Nar started making music with Niplets in the mid-'90s, and releasing music at a prolific pace in 2000 - an excellent run of (some times archival) CDrs on the Hello Goodbye Studio label, both solo, and with his groups Molls, Niplets and Port Cuss; an album on P.S.F. by Jokers, where he was joined by fellow Rallizes member Yokai Takahashi, and drummer Toshiaki Ishizuka (Brain Police, Vajra, Cinorama, etc.); and sixteen albums (and counting) as Youri Kun, for labels Gyunne Cassette, Inundow, and Hören. He's also fallen in with the Acid Mothers Temple crowd, guesting on a few of their albums, and recording a live set with Kawabata Makoto's Nishinihon trio. All Nar's music shares a deceptive primitivism; it moves with the simplicity of the best 1960s garage punk, but its edges are blurred and stretched, allowing for all kinds of weird, elliptical, and psychedelic moves to happen in its margins. His guitar playing on songs like 'Kakunin' (from 2011's 'Yamaimo Boogie') shimmies and slurs magnificently; 'Kurokami,' from 2012's 'Su,' has clanking six strings scrawling over loose, spaced-out synth; there are clunky psychobilly moves ('Oshiro No Ninjya'), spirited rave-ups for rattling organ and sputtering guitar ('Totsugeki'), and some lovely, drowsy, melancholy moments ('Sora'). The constant throughout is Nar's blues-blurred, drawling voice, as unique a tool as the non-idiomatic speak-sing styles of solo Syd Barrett, Jad Fair, or Dave E. McManus. There are also three Les Rallizes Dénudés covers here, where Nar locates the pop genius at the heart of songs like 'Shiroi Yoru' and amplifies this with his simple garage-reverential take on things. 'Renoir Of The Toys'
is yet more evidence that Hiroshi Nar was, and is, one of Japan's musical visionaries, a lonesome voice dedicated to a singular, streamlined vision, one that's in eternal pursuit of the joy and kicks at the heart of rock'n'roll, and a
reminder of what a great, unpretentious rock'n'roller truly should be.

When Lulu (Electric Moon) and Oli (ex-Urlaub in Polen) bump into each other at a concert in the legendary Vortex Surfer music club in Siegen, they both know that same evening: We are a band. They tell Falko, who has just destroyed the club with his instrumental post-metal band Sarkh. Just a few months later, the first songs were arranged during the first rehearsals - fragments of poetry and word play written by Oli, melodic
lines and ideas that were taken up by the band and subsidized and refined on the respective instruments. The debut 'White Clouds' was created in less than a year - recorded, mixed and mastered in Falko's underground recording studio Institut Für
Angewandten Krach. During that time, the band attends one of the last concerts of the wonderful noise post-math rock band Shellac in Amsterdam. All three are equally deeply impressed and moved by this show and incorporate Steve Albini's spirit into their debut, which they ultimately dedicated to him. Added to this is their very own drift - pain and hope, the unconditional will of rock'n'roll, depth and steep flight, highly dynamic, playful, hypnotic-driving passages and repeated melodies with resonance, as well as the connection between the three musicians, promise a debut and live concerts with a yeah factor.

The music can be seen as a continuation of Peters' work with SBE, in some ways this album seems to tie in very well with SBE's 'End Of Forever' as there are some longer '70s influenced prog pieces alongside shorter grunge era style songs. These works reflect a wider spectrum of influences than SBE but Samsara fans should find some familiarity here; fans of well composed, timeless psychedelic rock with flashes from the late '60s to today should give it a listen!

Osaka based psych-rock three piece Hibushibire return after a long break, with a new line up and a stunning third album.
Following the successes of their debut album 'Freak Out Orgasm!' (2017), the follow up 'Turn On, Tune In, Freak Out' (2019) and two very well received UK tours. The band headed home to Osaka, Japan and then, the pandemic hit. During this downtime, guitarist/vocalist Changchang decided to create a new power trio. Enter Tetsuji Toyoda (bass/vocals) and Aoi Hama (drums/vocals). The new trio have spent the last three years writing new music, playing live and honing their sound in Japan, and a short well received tour of Taiwan with Riot Season labelmates Dope Purple. And now finally, Hibushibire mark 2 is born properly. "Hibushibire has returned after a change of members. A psychedelic, progressive work, suitable for a new beginning." Entering the studio with Acid Mothers Temple/Mainliner guru Makoto Kawabata in the producer chair (and also as a guest musician) once again, the band recorded album number three, 'Magical Metamorphosis Third Eye.' Makoto also adds some of his own trademark guitar howls through out the album, perfectly complimenting Changchang's own growing prowess. Here the band have taken their trademark psych-rock blasts and blended them perfectly with some more trippy, dare I say sweet progressive psychedelic sounds. "The idea of this album is based on the theme of "occultism and mysticism." But it's not a serious thing, it's about the things we like (UFOs, pyramids, psychic phenomena, shamanism etc) and we all had fun while making it. In terms of what makes it different from the previous Hibushibire albums, it's where Aoi Hama's vocals are present. I had wanted to use a female vocalist for a long time, so it was a good feeling!" Like the band's first two albums, 'Magical Metamorphosis Third Eye' is very much an album of two halves. Side one again is full of killer shorter tracks, while side two is reserved for a blinding majestic 20 minute epic 'Ayahuasca Witch Abduction.' Perhaps the biggest musical surprise here though is probably track two, the beautifully mellow tripped out 'We Won't Go Back To The Past,' which sounds like it's been beamed straight out of the late '60s/early '70s.
The band also tip a nod to the Beatles psychedelic classic 'Tomorrow Never Ever Knows,' but with their own twist of course. It's clear with the line up changes, Changchang has decided to expand the band's musical pathway, and he's achieved stunning results. Japanese made CD in card sleeve.

After a series of epic, sprawling and headphones-friendly albums, Motorpsycho is back with a short, reasonably pop-formatted and intimate album of mainly acoustically based songs. For once playing the game instead of trying to reinvent it, this 10-song album of tunes is clearly a reaction in some way to too much architecture and too many grand visions, and dials the music down to more comprehensive and digestible sizes than have been the band's métier lately. Motorpsycho have always been about the balance between hard and soft, electric and acoustic, big and small, light and shade - and now the time was right for a lighter touch to balance the scales. Yang to the Yin of earlier, more epic works ('N.O.X.,' 'The Crucible,' and 'Chariot Of The Sun'), this is also an album that is relatively easy on the ears, and that actually works really well with a cup of tea at noon. 'Yay!' was produced by Reine Fiske and Lars Fredrik Swahn (Dungen, Melody's Echo Chamber, The Amazing et al), and their production work brings a sweet Swedish psych edge to the album, giving it a lysergic tinge and charging what could easily have been a bit too 'backporchy' with an electric vibe that lifts it out of the often staid singer/songwriter genre, but still keeping the intimacy intact.
While as ever clearly drawing on inspiration from late '60s/early '70s heroes, 'Yay!' is as indebted to earlier iterations of Motorpsycho as anything else, and will be recognizable to fans of vintage Motorpsychodelia as well as a breath of fresh air to newer Psychonauts that only ever heard the heavy progressive side of the band. Reactions ranging from 'WTF?' to 'Finally!' are expected. Use your ears! Keeping things unpredictable and weird since 1989, there is only one Motorpsycho.

The first ever release of Pitchshifter's legendary BBC sessions for the late, great John Peel. These ultra heavy industrial metal tracks were recorded over two sessions at the iconic Maida Vale studios: 28th April 1991 and 30th March 1993 and were sourced directly from the BBC Archives. The 1991 session was recorded during the same period as 'Industrial' (Deaf Records/Peaceville), with the 1993 session recorded around the time of 'Desensitized' (Earache). Founded in Nottingham in 1989, Pitchshifter's early style was heavy industrial metal, being cited as one of the originators of the genre along with Godflesh - a style which they termed "death industrial." These sessions and albums mark the end of that classic period, before a shift towards the more commercial, beat-driven industrial style from the mid-'90s onward that they are still known for.

The Cyrkle produced one album's worth of solid garage rock, and it certainly proves that the band was an enthusiastic bunch of musicians. Much closer to late '60s garage (proto) punk than psychedelia, the album was released in 1969. They were best known for their 1966 song 'Red Rubber Ball' (written by Paul Simon) which went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band was discovered and managed by Brian Epstein and given the unique spelling of their name by John Lennon. The group was formed by guitarists and lead singers Don Dannemann and Tom Dawes (bass guitar), who met while studying at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. The other members were Earl Pickens on keyboards and Marty Fried on drums. Includes 8 bonus tracks.

If the Dead Kennedys and the Ventures had sex, Los Gringos would be their freakin' children. Before forming Los Gringos in the German Ruhr Area in 2011, all band members had played in different hardcore punk bands. After some demo recordings, Los Gringos released their first LP 'Surf Fast, Sleep Long' in 2014. They had to face a lot of challenges. An additonal guitar player started in 2013 and left the band in 2014, in 2018 a close friend of the band and the drummer's wife passed away. But the band didn't give in. By now, they have found their

They now spend most their time between Bristol in the UK and Wales. They write most of their own material drawing on the best of '50s, '60s and '70s trash and punk although when they do cover a track, it's guaranteed to be a killer as in the case on this album where they cover the 1962 released 'Wombat Twist' originally by Glenn & Christy.
