AGNES STRANGE - STRANGE FLAVOUR
Guitar driven psychedelic hard-rock, heavy blues and proto-metal by this power-trio from Southampton. This is their sought-after album from 1975. Agnes Strange was a bluesy hard-rock trio active during the mid-1970s. The band consisted of John Westwood on guitar and vocals, Alan Green on bass and vocals, and Dave Rodwell on drums/vocals. In 1975, they released their sole album, 'Strange Flavour,' on the small BirdsNest label, linked to a chain of pubs/brewing firm. The album showcased their blend of hard-rock, blues and experimental/psychedelic influences, drawing comparisons to bands like Status Quo, Budgie, and Hawkwind. Despite their energetic style and musical talent, the album did not achieve significant commercial success. It's clear that some other labels like Vertigo or Harvest would have been a better home for them. RIYL: Budgie, Taste, Hendrix, Status Quo, Sabbath, Stooges. BOLDER DAMN - MOURNING
Absolute monster when talking about US hard-rock/proto-doom private pressings. Hailing from Florida, Bolder Damn released this beast in 1971. Ultra-heavy, "raw-in-your-face" sound with loud fuzzed-out guitar, solid rhythm section and manic vocals.
Bolder Damn formed in 1969 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The original lineup consisted of John Anderson on vocals and rhythm guitar, Glenn Eaton on lead guitar, Ron Refett on bass, Mark Gaspard on keyboards, and Bob Eaton on drums. Initially performing covers, they gradually incorporated original material into their sets. Their energetic live performances led them to open for notable acts such as Alice Cooper, MC5, The Amboy Dukes, and Blue Cheer. In 1971, after Gaspard's departure, the remaining members recorded their sole album, 'Mourning,' at Hyperbolic Studios in Florida. The recording session lasted only four hours, resulting in a raw, in-your-face heavy sound. The album was privately pressed with approximately 200 copies distributed mainly to friends, family, and local fans. Side 2 featured the 16-minute epic 'Dead Meat,' which reflects the band's heavy, proto-doom style, reminiscent of contemporaries like Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer. In 1972 Anderson and Refett were drafted into military service during the Vietnam War, leading to Bolder Damn's dissolution. Original artwork in hard cardboard sleeve + obi. Remastered sound. Previously unreleased second album by US hard-rock band Fyter.
Comprised of demos recorded in the late '70s, this is a more sophisticated and "heavier" effort than their privately pressed debut from 1978. Superb hard-rock sound with devastating lead/twin guitars. Fyter was a hard-rock band from Morrilton, Arkansas, known for their self-released private album from 1978. Their music blended powerful hard-rock riffs and solos with psychedelic elements, drawing inspiration from artists like Led Zeppelin, Foghat, Hendrix, Stones, Who... After recording their debut album, 'Fyter,' the band started to work on a possible follow-up. Most of the tracks included here were recorded at a studio in Little Rock owned by a friend of the band except for few ones recorded at the band's four-track basement studio. The music contained on 'Flying' was there, waiting on tapes in various boxes, in various closets. After 40 years it finally arrives on vinyl. Remastered sound. Private press hard-rock Holy Grail from Arkansas, 1978. Guitar driven hard-rock with some cool psychedelic, southern rock and melodic AOR touches. Fyter was a hard-rock band from Morrilton, Arkansas, known for their self-released private album from 1978. The band consisted of Kevin Compton (bass), Travis Johnson (lead guitar), Mike Newman (vocals and rhythm guitar), and Duane Harlan (drums). Their music blended powerful hard-rock riffs and solos with psychedelic elements, drawing inspiration from artists like Led Zeppelin, Foghat, Hendrix, Stones, Who... The name "Fyter" was chosen through a creative process involving numerology and wordplay. They performed at various venues, including high school proms, community dances, and clubs. In 1978, Fyter recorded their self-titled album over three days in Oklahoma City. The album featured tracks like 'Where I Stand,' 'Monarch,' and '100-Watt Head.' The cover art, depicting the band being "arrested" by local police, was a collaborative effort with the North Little Rock Police Department. Only 1,000 copies were pressed, making it a rare collector's item today. First ever reissue. Remastered sound.

Erik and Jan, both former members of The Small Breed, found new musical direction after their previous band's end. Joined by Erik's wife Carlijn, they formed Ground Cinnamon Band, adding more folk and country elements to their music. Like their inspirations, they focus heavily on the vocal harmonies. Their music is characterized by harmonized vocals from all three members, supported by instruments such as the acoustic 12-string guitar, pedal steel, vibraphone, bass harmonica, and mellotron. The 5 songs on their debut 19-minute EP were recorded at PAF! Studio in Rotterdam and produced by Marcel Fakkers. Refaim came into life in the beginning of 2022. A shared interest in animism, ancient rituals and psychedelic music have drawn Refaim's members from the deep sheol of Kiryat Hamelacha in southern Tel Aviv. Taking inspiration from Aldous Huxley's notes on his mescaline trip, Refaim have found the Hebrew term of 'Heut' (Isness), as the best microcosm for their musical trip. The music of 'Heut' is a synergy between the different musical aesthetics of Refaim's members - King Isxan's Yuval Manor (guitar) has a passion for kraut and middle eastern sounds, Roni G (drums) is a total Dead-head, and probably jerry Garcia's descendant, Elvin Shelly (bass) brings an austere punk rock attitude, and multi-instrumentalist Yotam Aloof offers his genuine composition skills. Their vision was conceived into a full album in one humid and sunny Levantine weekend, recorded live by Assaf Shahar (King Isxan/Häxxan). It was then mixed and mastered by Erik Wofford (The Black Angels/Holy Wave). 'Heut' is a fascinating neo-psychedelic rock nugget, which will appeal to fans of such bands as Spacemen 3, Kikagaku Moyo, Minami Deutsch, Föllakzoid, Wooden Shjips, Dead Skeletons and The Asteroid #4.

REFAIM - HEUT (WHITE)
Refaim came into life in the beginning of 2022. A shared interest in animism, ancient rituals and psychedelic music have drawn Refaim's members from the deep sheol of Kiryat Hamelacha in southern Tel Aviv. Taking inspiration from Aldous Huxley's notes on his mescaline trip, Refaim have found the Hebrew term of 'Heut' (Isness), as the best microcosm for their musical trip. The music of 'Heut' is a synergy between the different musical aesthetics of Refaim's members - King Isxan's Yuval Manor (guitar) has a passion for kraut and middle eastern sounds, Roni G (drums) is a total Dead-head, and probably jerry Garcia's descendant, Elvin Shelly (bass) brings an austere punk rock attitude, and multi-instrumentalist Yotam Aloof offers his genuine composition skills. Their vision was conceived into a full album in one humid and sunny Levantine weekend, recorded live by Assaf Shahar (King Isxan/Häxxan). It was then mixed and mastered by Erik Wofford (The Black Angels/Holy Wave). 'Heut' is a fascinating neo-psychedelic rock nugget, which will appeal to fans of such bands as Spacemen 3, Kikagaku Moyo, Minami Deutsch, Föllakzoid, Wooden Shjips, Dead Skeletons and The Asteroid #4. USA import. Exact repro. Originally released in 1969, this album is one of the most significant in Brazilian musical history, spearheading the musical Tropicalia revolution lead by Brazilian legends Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, not to mention Gal Costa and mutant rockers Os Mutantes. Not only were the artists experimenting with the music, they were also making a very strong political statement that spoke out very harshly against the military regime in Brazil at the time. This album helped land Veloso and Gil a brief stint in jail and eventually in political exile in the UK.

'Second' is the title of the second album of the Alsatian group WLUD. This French band is composed of Philippe Wendling on keyboards, Bernard Labroche on guitars, Gigi Untersinger on bass and Gianni Drago on drums. WLUD is the acronym of the musicians' names, W for Wendling Philippe, L for Labroche Bernard, U for Untersinger Gigi and D for Drago Gianni. All compositions are by WLUD. The original vinyl record released in 1979 was as successful abroad (notably in the USA and Japan) as in France. This record is a reissue of the original production at the time. A first album called 'Carrycroch'' was released in 1978.

A lot has changed for London based Stoner crew Yung Druid since the release of their debut self titled LP in 2019. So much so, it's hard to really call the 4 piece a 'London based band' these days. A pandemic amongst other things has seen the members of Yung Druid scattered out from Europe to Australasia, forcing the band to make drastic changes to their typical approach to writing and recording. Long gone are the days of writing and recording as a band in small rehearsal rooms in their spiritual home of Homerton, East London. This EP was pieced together from Mallorca Spain, Western Australia and New Zealand. 'Wooden Lungs' is a 20 minute, 2 track 'Yin-Yang' affair, consisting of the retro-psych-rocker 'Space Cowboy' and the doomy blues jam 'Wooden Lung.' Limited to 300 copies on clear orange with neon yellow marble vinyl.

SOFT HEARTED SCIENTISTS - THE PHANTOM OF CANTON
A 16 track double album (on one CD, 77 min.) that is loosely speaking a psychedelia infused concept album of sorts, dealing with themes such as alienation, lost love, and the sometimes high personal price of obsessively pursuing creative projects, or indeed any job or calling. However, it is often very upbeat and hopeful, even joyful, and acknowledges that the highs outweigh the lows and that the protagonist wouldn't really have it any other way. Yes there are times of reflecting how life might have been different, but unravelling all life choices is rather pointless. 'The Phantom Of Canton' is universal and is anybody who has felt a sense of identity loss during times of crisis, like a ghost on the sidelines with life passing them by, but also anyone who has then experienced the immense rush of joy felt when things get back on track. Musically this might be the band's most ambitious yet. Even the darker songs are painted in bright colours and infused with an hallucinatory element. Electric and acoustic guitars and a vast range of keyboards and sound effects and sound events illuminate the lyrics. Influences include 1940s big band music, 1950s doo wop and rock and roll, 1960s psychedelia and folk rock, early 1970s prog rock, punk, post punk, electronic music and sound track music. As was said by an astute listener about the last album 'Waltz Of The Weekend,' the pop songs have got more action packed with detail and hooks, and the longer tracks stretch out more than before. It is essential to have several of those quick fix compact pop songs on the album to give the listener an entry point. Then the longer, more abstract tracks make more sense. Not that writing an 11 minute track is necessarily harder than writing a 3 minute 30 second pop song, where not a second can be wasted. In fact the pop songs are often harder to write.

Forced Down was first created by Amenity vocalist Mike Down and Pitchfork drummer Joey Piro. The band was completed by vocalist Rob Base as well as members of other San Diego hardcore alumni including Scott Bartoloni from Heroin. Full of idealism, love and anger the band recorded 2 vinyl 7"s including their swansong double-7" 'Stifle.' The Forced Down mission statement reads: "As the social values in our society becomes more set in stone, the individual is forgotten. When what the individual stands for goes against the ideas of the mass, and is considered a threat to order, be it right or wrong - they are forced down - disciplined to maintain "the order." Some conform, some resist, some fall, and they are forgotten"... "time to rise from our knees and live on our feet." This essential collection and first ever release of all the band's compiled material on vinyl is housed in a thick cardboard, tip-on style jacket and comes with a beautiful 12"x12" booklet with many photos, liner notes etc. Remixed by Brad Wood (Sunny Day Real Estate, Touche Amore) and mastered by Brad Boatright.

Swiss punkers Pig Sweat bang out a barrage of sputtering and scrapping hardcore punk like a gut punch. Tracks are fast and furious, clocking in at around one to two minutes each, yet they are chock full of attitude with blistering riffs and changes. Some moments are mid-tempo jackhammers, others are blazing hardcore. A lot comes to mind here, from contemporaries Golpe and Exil to Nightmare (huh, that's the title of track three) and Poison Idea. Guitars are in the higher register like Die Kreuzen, while the rhythm section plays with a ton of heavy umph, think Severed Head Of State. 'Es Is Zum Scheissn - Punk In Vienna 1977-1988' was a project cooked up by Thomas Reitmayer. The film came out in 2019, but blink and you missed it - it vanished from public view faster than a punk with a court date. Why? A spicy cocktail of copyright drama, personal beefs, public yelling matches, and a cast of very extroverted personalities. Classic punk chaos.
From the get-go, there were dreams of dropping a soundtrack to go with it. The film had its premiere in a cozy Viennese indie cinema in October 2019, but then - plot twist - Thomas Reitmayer passed away suddenly in May 2020 from a heart attack. Total shocker. Fast forward a few years (because nothing punk happens on time), and now, finally, the LP is hitting the shelves - and it's bringing the film along for the ride on a bonus DVD! This resurrection is brought to you by the fine folks at Exil Records and Bachelor Records. The cover art was done by Robert Räudig (of Chuzpe fame), and the mastering was handled by Eric Brady from Windian Records - basically, it sounds amazing and looks like it could bite you.

Zig-Zag's fifth incendiary full-length LP, 'Deadbeat At Dawn,' is named in honor of the beloved B-movie, a no-budget action revenge flick set in the mean streets of suburban Ohio. Cult cinema is an enduring Zig-Zags inspiration, with the band frequently calling out exploitation films in their lyrics, odes to teen-delinquent classics like 'Over The Edge' and dystopian sci-fi such as 'Terminator' and 'Total Recall.' This album sticks to this obsession with the cultural underground, riffing on everything from demonic minions to apocalyptic visions and alien attacks. The opening track 'Not Of This World' is described by Maheu as, "a fighting-back-against-the-aliens song." The propulsive heavy jammer 'At War With Hell' fights the devils on their own satanic turf. The thrash power anthem, 'Take Me To Your Leader,' is - as Maheu explains, "about how we're always talking about the environment and going to Mars, then some aliens show up here and say, 'Yo, your planet is way better than where we came from, so we're gonna fuck you up and take it!'" This album is undeniably Zig-Zags' at their most epic and enormous in both the performance and the production. "We definitely wanted a bigger overall sound with heavier guitars," Maheu explains of the record, "still very '80s, but clearer. Our influences were Metallica's 'Garage Days' as Judas Priest... really heavy but not overly distorted." The result is the most focused, intense, and catchy Zig-Zags album yet, with the timing perfect for their distinctly melodic and maniacal call to arms. Finalizing recording and mixing just as the catastrophic fires hit their hometown in L.A., 'Deadbeat At Dawn' is the perfect soundtrack for a city rising up from the ashes of destruction. "I feel lucky that we got to put out this record when we did," Maheu said, "It's heavy and gnarly and kind of fucked up, but it's also a lot of fun - which is how we feel about Los Angeles."

ELDAMAR - ASTRAL JOURNEYS PT. II: DISSOLUTION
Conceptually, Eldamar used to be inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, heathenism, elven magic and nature. On the latest albums, however, this focus has shifted more towards existential themes and nonphysical experiences. The goal of Eldamar's art has always been to help listeners to open up to the music in an emotional way and combine the experience with their imagination. To that end, the combination of aural and visual impressions was and still is important. Where in the past Eldamar used the gorgeous nature paintings of Albert Bierstadt to help the listener to enter dream-like lands, this album, which is part two of a conceptual work, uses another magnificent painting by the Polish master of surreal art Mariusz Lewandowski to give the listener some visual cues as to what this album is about. As usual, the music and art are meant to speak for themselves, and listeners are encouraged to enter into their own spiritual journeys while listening to the new album.

The band Oneira & Aftapates (Dreams & Illusions) was formed in January 1986 (and disbanded towards the end of 1988), a time when in Greece, among other underground musical genres, new wave music was flourishing. With a sound influenced mainly by bands such as Cure, Joy Division, Chameleons etc., the band added several post rock and psychedelic elements, mainly by using a flanger on one guitar, giving the band a more personal and special sound. In the lyrics one could discern a subtle pessimism as well as several influences from the poetry of Jim Morrison. The 4 kids who made up the band were Ilias Hortarias (guitar/voice/music/lyrics), Giorgos Kouros (bass), Nikos Tsoumanis (drums) and Ilias Kouros (guitar). They gave many concerts together with Anti, Slow Motion, No Man's Land and Panx Romana among others in various places, but unfortunately apart from a demo nothing else was saved. In recent years, Ilias Hortarias has reunited with Nikos Tsoumanis and together with Tina Koulouri on synth and piano and Zozi Tsounakou on vocals they recorded 4 of the songs of that period as well as some new ones for the release of this album! The songs of the album, with the addition of synth and female vocals, create a more imposing atmosphere in the final result. A long-time prospect materialized, thanks to the strong personal friendship among the original members of the band, with the result being transformed to a vinyl and CD release via Nowhere Street Music!

1980's Japanese post-punk/funk from So-Do, lovingly compiled and reissued by Time Capsule. The story of So-Do is both familiar and completely unique. A classically trained multi-instrumentalist with a poet's sensibility and a passion for folk music meets a worldly bar owner with a love for psychedelia, post-punk and dub in the small town neither could bring themselves to leave. Over two years, they play dozens of shows in independent live houses across Japan, cut and self-release three singles - two 7"s and a 12" - and leave behind just eight tracks, all of which are now reissued for the first time forty years on. So-Do's 'Studio Works '83-85' collects the full output of this iconoclastic post-punk phenomenon, whose sparse, syncopated arrangements were infused with a dubbed-out flair that owed more to Dennis Bovell's productions of Orange Juice, the Jah Wobble basslines of Public Image Limited or Adrian Sherwood's live dubs of Mark Stewart than even they knew at the time.

The band Oneira & Aftapates (Dreams & Illusions) was formed in January 1986 (and disbanded towards the end of 1988), a time when in Greece, among other underground musical genres, new wave music was flourishing. With a sound influenced mainly by bands such as Cure, Joy Division, Chameleons etc., the band added several post rock and psychedelic elements, mainly by using a flanger on one guitar, giving the band a more personal and special sound. In the lyrics one could discern a subtle pessimism as well as several influences from the poetry of Jim Morrison. The 4 kids who made up the band were Ilias Hortarias (guitar/voice/music/lyrics), Giorgos Kouros (bass), Nikos Tsoumanis (drums) and Ilias Kouros (guitar). They gave many concerts together with Anti, Slow Motion, No Man's Land and Panx Romana among others in various places, but unfortunately apart from a demo nothing else was saved. In recent years, Ilias Hortarias has reunited with Nikos Tsoumanis and together with Tina Koulouri on synth and piano and Zozi Tsounakou on vocals they recorded 4 of the songs of that period as well as some new ones for the release of this album! The songs of the album, with the addition of synth and female vocals, create a more imposing atmosphere in the final result. A long-time prospect materialized, thanks to the strong personal friendship among the original members of the band, with the result being transformed to a vinyl and CD release via Nowhere Street Music!

Two early '80s slices of disco funk, from the talented James (Gem) Prewitt. 'My Love Box' was recorded recorded in St Louis, Missouri in 1981 and 'Juicy' in 1983. Japanese guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist Keiji Haino had been a prominent figure in the Tokyo underground since the mid-'70s before forming this incredible group that stands as one of Japan's most inventive and extraordinary and powerful groups of the era. Their work draws on noise, rock, free improvisation, and psychedelia, yet they sculpt their group sound in a fashion that their music is relative to few forms. Fushitsusha recorded their debut album in 1989; however, it is rumored that the group existed in various incarnations from as early as 1980. A self-titled double album that vanished from the market very quickly, it certainly made an impact on an influential level and was a quintessential recording in the Tokyo psychedelic rock revival and noise rock scenes. The Japanese psych rock power trio maintained an aura of deep mystery throughout the majority of their career. Their album covers featured no artwork, only the characters for the group's name in dark ink on black paper.

TROVAJOLI, ARMANDO - JAZZ PIANO
Roman pianist and film composer Armando Trovajoli scored over 300 feature films during his remarkable career. Starting out in the 1930s as a player in Orchestra Rocco Grasso and Sesto Carlini's beloved jazz orchestra, in 1949 he represented Italy at the Festival du Jazz de Paris and he began composing films three years later. 'Jazz Piano,' released by RCA in 1959,
saw Trovajoli fronting a quartet with three of his regular orchestra members, namely drummer Sergio Conti, bassist/arranger Berto Pisano and guitarist Enzo Grillini, sensitively tackling Monk's 'Round Midnight,' relegating 'Get Me To The Church On Time' as rapid piano jazz, and plenty showtunes similarly reconfigured.

BADINGS, HENK/DICK RAAIJMAKERS - EVOLUTIONS, CONTRASTS & ELECTRONIC MUSIC
One of the most prolific composers of contemporary music in The Netherlands, Henk Badings, was born in Indonesia in 1907, the son of an East Indies Company army officer, and orphaned at an early age. Back in Holland, Badings worked as a mining engineer and palaeontologist, but abandoned this career to devote his life to music, making an impact in 1930 with the performance of his first cello concerto. The composer of various symphonies
that made use of unusual music scales and uncommon harmonic structures, Badings began experimenting with electronic music in the 1950s, composing the first side of the 'Electronic
Music' LP in 1952 for a performance at the Gravesano Music Festival, using 12 oscillators and a violin, the second side in 1958 for a ballet performed by the Hannover Opera Ballet;
recorded at Philips' studio in Eindhoven, it utilizes various sound generators, the final track featuring Dick Raaijmakers, a composer and electronic music specialist then employed by
Philips in the field of electro-acoustics.

EIMERT, HERBERT - EPITAPH FUR AIKICHI KUBOYAMA/SECHS STUDIEN
Herbert Eimert was a German music renaissance man, with his expertise ranging from theory to composition, editing, radio production, and criticism. He wrote numerous books on music theory, worked for years at the British occupational forces run Nordwestdeutscher Rundfunk. It was there in 1951 that he established a studio for electronic music that he ran until 1961, which hosted recordings from Stockhausen, Xenakis, and Cardew, among others. This brilliant work begins on side A with 'Epitaph Für Aikichi Kuboyama,' a brilliant piece of voice and electronics dedicated to a Japanese fishing boat radioman, who lost his life from complications related to radiation poisoning in 1954, after the ship he worked on was contaminated from fallout after the USA's nuclear testing at Bikini atoll. In addition to being a brilliant piece of electronic musique concrete, it is a damning indictment of nuclear warfare, as prescient now as it was during The Cold War. Side B is made up of six studies in electronic music, showcasing Eimert's talents which are as impressive as his more famous contemporaries. Essential early electronic music.

FERGUSON, HORACE - SENSI ADDICT
Death Is Not The End's 333 sub-label reissues a serious all-timer of an LP from the peak of reggae/dancehall's mid-to-late 1980s digital era, in the form of Horace Ferguson's Sensi Addict - recorded for Prince Jazzbo's Ujama label and originally released back in 1987.
Produced & arranged by the late great Jazzbo (and issued here under license from the foundation deejay & producer's family) the Sensi Addict LP pulls together a selection of vocals recorded between 1984 & 1987 at Michael Carroll's Creative Sounds studio in Kingston, recorded by engineer (and singer & producer in his own right) Paul Davidson. Horace's infectious falsetto can be found riding a collection of Jazzbo's digital rhythms - from the inspired Replay version on 'Jah Order', to the updated take on the foundational Sleng Teng rhythm track on 'Tranquilizer' - representing some of the most forward-thinking production of the period outside of Jammys and King Tubby's Firehouse stables.
The bulk of these rhythm tracks were performed by revered multi-instrumentalist Tyrone Downie (a long-time member of Bob Marley & The Wailers since the mid 70s, who sadly passed last November) alongside Tony "Asher" Brissett - another massively undersung session musician perhaps most notable for laying down the initial Sleng Teng rhythm track for Jammys in 1984. Also on display here are a couple of choice early 80s rhythms, recorded for Jazzbo by Errol "Flabba" Holt's legendary Roots Radics backing band. All of this comes paired with sympathetically reproduced artwork - featuring images of Horace by photographer and reggae documentarian, Beth "Kingston" Lesser.

HENRY, PIERRE - ORPHEE BALLET
Scored for Maurice Béjart's choreography to the 'Orphée Ballet,' based on the Greek god Orpheus, this is one of Pierre Henry's finest works of musique concrète, the genre in which Henry was an early innovator and to which he devoted his career. After years working for the French national radio (RTF) and honing his studio chops on radio spots and editing/composition, Henry formed his own studio in 1958 and began working on modern dance and ballet and soundtrack work. Incorporating percussion, industrial soundscapes, nature sounds, spoken French narrative, and synthesized tones, 'Orphée Ballet' is a beautiful piece that, while less known than what is perhaps his most famous work, also for Béjart's ballet production, 1967's 'Les Jerks Électroniques De La Messe Pour Le Temps Présent Et Musiques Concrètes Pour Maurice Béjart,' is equally compelling and groundbreaking. Following his passing in 2017 at age 89, Henry's work has found renewed interest, and this is a welcome reissue of one of his rarest and finest works. Truly brilliant.

Recorded in Jamaica at Byron Lee's Dynamics & Herman Chin-Loy's Aquarius studios for the Bronx-based Jamaazima label in 1987, it is issued here under license from co-producer and label owner Nami Harmon. The record features a host of celebrated and renowned musicians incl. Winston Wright, Bobby Ellis, Carlton "Santa" Davis, Dwight Pinkney, Willie Lindo and Mikey "Boo" Richards amongst many others - alongside the sublime vocals of Killamanjaro's Hugh Maddo aka UU Madoo.
