Nero's ex-Gladiators, Micky Jones and Tommy Brown traversed the 1960s, engineering a lion's share of potential pop winners for French singing stars Johnny Hallyday, Ronnie Bird, Françoise Hardy, and Sylvie Vartan. They also indulged in a chunk of their own pop fantasy as State Of Micky & Tommy, The J&B, Nimrod and other flirting guises. The duo made their names in Paris, at the height of yé-yé beat and psychedelia before higher echelons called on Micky Jones to indulge in some '80s metal excess.
