Classically trained musicians Greg Kelley (trumpet) and Lori Goldston (cello) most often play completely improvised, though occasionally their work is loosely structured or composed. 'All Points Leaning In' was recorded at the home studio of producer Steve Fisk, who contributes a legendarily fine, bold ear and originality. It was tracked live, through amplifiers and effects pedals, without overdubs or looping, and the sound is visceral and airy, droney and densely layered, ecstatic and precise.
