Over the past ten years, Nick Wheeldon has recorded nearly 20 albums with countless bands (The Jesus Loves Heroin Band, Os Noctàmbulos, The Necessary Separations, 39th & the Nortons, Nick & Alizon, Sex Sux, Nick Drunken Broken Arms & His False Ninga Dylan Cobb, Dômo Kômo among others), each of them offering him a new opportunity to refine his Gene Clark and Alex Chilton inspired sound - a sound that is both majestic and fragile, delicate and raw. 'Gift' was recorded entirely live on an 8-track recorder, in a ten-hour session.
