Presented on a WHITE VINYL 7-INCH (edition of only 50 copies!) is a super cool split between the corrupt Dutch surf combo Cops and De Mervo's, who specialize in 'levensliederen' (the Dutch equivalent of the German Schlager genre) with a twist. Cops continue to surf and protect with a previously unissued track from the 'Crime Wave' EP sessions. Producer Patrick Delabie (also known from a.o. Scoundrels, Woke and Ford's Fuzz inferno) was given total artistic freedom to turn the basic track into a truly epic aural happening. On the other side De Mervo's give the classic Queen anthem 'We Are The Champions' a special treatment, making it sound like it never did before.
