Swiss prog-rock band Krokodil released their eponymous debut album 1969. They were already a celebrated live band back then, which helped when they were invited by Liberty Records in Munich to record a demo tape. The material, recorded in one day, surprised the Liberty executives so much that they immediately released it as an LP.
