Following nearly two years after their acclaimed album, 'The Wilderness', Explosions In The Sky paused on the future to reflect on the past. Celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band with remastered reissues of their early albums, they composed the score for a documentary, 'Big Bend: The Wild Frontier Of Texas'. The band takes on an inspired, melodic and meaningful blend of acoustic guitar, slide guitar, strings, piano, bells and drums that feels as alive and diverse. That score has now been released as 'Big Bend: An Original Soundtrack For Public Television'.
