Presented on vinyl (edition of 400 copies) is Paolo Vasile's score to Antonio Margheritis 1975 poliziottesco, Controrapina (The Rip Off) starring Lee Van Cleef. This soundtrack runs the gamut from strumming guitar and vocal numbers, to straight up dancefloor heaters, incorporating smooth sax, disco strings, wah wah guitar and a driving beat. Inn other words, all the essential elements of a first rate '70s Eurocrime soundtrack are present. A cut-out .45 caliber pistol cut out (silhouette) is included.
