Helsinki quartet Alder Ego, led by drummer/composer Joonas Leppänen, returns with their album "III" on We Jazz Records. The album finds Leppänen and his bandmates extracting more depth and punch out of their tenor sax, trumpet, double bass and drums setup, bringing echoes from jazz greats such as Ornette Coleman. Comes on limited orange vinyl.
