Sai Gon

'Sai Gon' was written by Hanoi-born composer Y-Van in 1965, one of the most famous songwriters in South Vietnamese pop music. His revered songs are still sung and covered to this day. 'Sai Gon' was recorded for the first time by Saigonese-born singer Trúc Mai. It is an almost iconic composition, comparable to Frank Sinatra's 'New York, New York' and has been recorded countless times since.
