Founded in 2017 in Montreal, Québec, Vanille is Rachel Leblanc's solo project. Her songs, immersed in the melancholy sadness of the suburbs, naively recount the dreams and moods of late adolescence. Marrying the nostalgia and refined melodies typical of the '60s with the energy and intuition of garage rock specific to the '90s, this is her first album.
