Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Contento consists of two expatriate Colombians who label their music "salsapunk". Their main goal is to make people happy. The duo's debut-LP reveals influences s.a. Nuyorican boogaloo from the '60s and cumbia from the golden age of Discos Fuentes, yet at the same time it's modern and refreshingly different.
