'40 Anos Nos Iluminan' is not just another Esplendor Geometrico album, as they have reinvented themselves by taking inspiration from their own long career since 1980. The 16 tracks included on this 2CD offer a better sound production and compositions full of details, sometimes subtle, opening a new path of exploration that goes beyond the typical current industrial music, loaded with cliches. Here the band experiment with noise, recorded voices, striking collages, and their trademark hypnotic rhythms of industrial trance. CD1 includes the 16 tracks of the vinyl version and CD2 includes 8 exclusive bonus tracks, on a limited edition of 500 copies. Four tracks are reconstructions of tracks by Atom TM, Most Significant Beat, Pragma (Clock DVA, TeZ), and Moral Order.
