Is The Idea Of Us

New Fries never had the interest in being a traditional band, doing traditional songwriting. After the keyboard player left the band, the then three-piece started to work on 'Is The Idea Of Us' with a different approach, by letting the band members switch instruments. Much of the music on this album, which has been presented as a collage, was testament to the work of engineer/musician Carl Didur. Didur (Zacht Automaat, formerly US Girls) is a long-standing pillar of Toronto's experimental music community.
