The Lion Of Piraeus

Asping is a collaboration project of two members, Asa Nordgren (vocals, composition) and Michael Idehall (electronics, composition), inviting other musicians to experiment with music and sound. Although they have performed live on a few occasions, 'The Lion Of Piraeus' is their first music release. On this album, Michael and Asa were invited to Athens to create music with Yiannis K. of the renowned Greek black metal band Serpent Noir. The eight songs were composed and recorded during a week in the old harbor city of Piraeus.
