Fantastic compilation of the Kenyan Afro-Rock group Black Savage featuring 9 tracks taken from one extremely rare LP and two singles from 1975-78. Comes with digital download code, colorful insert and CD with bonus tracks not available on the LP. Liners written by Kenyan music journalist Emmanuel Mwendwa. The music is a somewhat rock hybrid with politically fueled lyrics and funky undertones and even folkloric at times, drawing influences from Deep Purple, Pink Floyd to Mandrill and Ohio Players. It's a must listen!
