Akatakyiwa Session

Hailing from Ghana, the USA and Denmark, the members of African Connection combine highlife, funk, Afrobeat, rock'n'roll and West African traditions, providing a significant and modern interpretation and expansion of African music as we know it. Drummer Frank "CC YoYo" Ankrah played with Fela Kuti in the '80s and was a student of Tony Allen. This single offers the tracks 'Matanbaye' and 'Gbemegiwo'.
