Initially started as a synth/ambient project by sole member Ynleborgaz in 1997, Angantyr quickly changed its style to raw, classic Scandinavian black metal in 1998 and has remained true to its roots throughout the projects entire history. Two decades after the project's first release, Angantyr's 6th album delivers just what fans expect and have grown to love throughout the project's entire existence: raw, hymnic northern black metal that possesses all trademarks of Angantyrs unique style.
