Catharsis as art, this full-length work of the leading Russian dark-folk project perfectly transmits the feeling of the devouring purification. Death folk still has the right to exist, although for the most part we are immersed in the deep swamps of dark ambient, embraced by mysterious neoclassical chimes. Featuring piano, percussion violin, viola, cello, clarinet, flute, and trumpet, this is wonderful music.
