AK Musick's self-titled LP, originally released in 1972 in a private press edition of 150 copies on Hans Kumpf's legendary AKM Records, offers radical, freaked-out sounds with hints of free-jazz, improv and avant-garde. Fans of Anima, Annexus Quam, Albrecht D, Gulda, Nihilist Spasm Band, or Nurse With Wound will love it. Some of the instruments used were clarinet, cello, oboe, organ, piano, darbuka, tam-tam, ektare, flute and zither. The album includes the amazing 'Impro-Vision', a track recorded with conventional instruments but that sounds like electronic music. This is the first ever reissue, under license from Hans Kumpf.
