The sound on this reissue was completely remastered in stereophonic quality from the first generation stereo master tapes, recently discovered in the vaults of EMI Italy. This is the score to one of the most controversial movies in Italian cinematographic history. Nino Rota needs no introduction, and neither does Federico Fellini. For this unique soundtrack Nino Rota composed one of his most unusual scores, evoking barbaric rhythms and ancient-sounding instruments to underscore the colourful visual cacophony of Fellini's outstanding cult movie.
