A vinyl issue of the follow-up to Jacqueline Thibault's (Laurence Vanay) 1976 album 'Evening Colours'. 'Les Soleils De La Vie' (or 'The Suns Of Life') was recorded with the help of her perpetual musical accomplices Serge Derrien (guitar, flute, wordless vocals) and John Chevalier (a.k.a. Popov) on drums and percussion. In spite interest from Decca Records this album remained unreleased at the time. Now these shimmering, mysterious, sometimes funky, deeply emotional examples of musical beguilement are available for the world. Limited to 500 copies, housed in deluxe tip-on jackets.
