Originally released as a private pressing and on label 'Contraband' Orange Wedge's first album 'Wedge' features 7 songs full of driving guitars and strong vocals. Orange Wedge hailed from Baltimore, Maryland, U.S., where they formed in 1968. They released 2 albums. Both albums show a mix of long and short songs and lots of loud guitars. Exellent songwriting and remarkable hooks, too. Highlights of the album are 11-minute track 'Death Comes Slowly' and final song 'Revenge', which features some suberb Neil Young-influenced guitar playing.
