Ni Vent... Ni Nouvelle
The middle period of Maneige was represented by three releases, two studio releases and the live album 'Composite'. 'Ni Vent... Ni Nouvelle' is lushly orchestrated symphonic jazz rock, with over thirty instruments employed over the course of the album. Although the musicians are all clearly virtuosi, the emphasis is very much on the group interplay, especially the two percussionists (Schetagne and Picard) feeding off each other.
