WIND (NORWAY) - SLEEP (10")
Limited edition 500 copies white vinyl!! Wind is a talented psychedelic rock band consisting of Filip Ramberg, Martin van Houtum and Fredrik Severin. A trinity of close friends that share a vision of sound. A sound that is raw and unpolished, with more than enough of neverending drumrolls, spaced out guitarlicks and organic bass. Wind are inspired by the psychedelic rock of the 60s, folk music from the East and spiritual jazz - some points of reference can be Amon Duul, Alice Coltrane and Trad Gras ch Stenar. Wind has built an excellent reputation as a live act, and their sets often consist of songs that start off in one place, and, with improvisation, never end the same way. Still, they always sound focused and determined. The 10" EP Sleep consists of two brilliant psychedelic tunes that were improvised in the studio, and are in many ways a product of listening to the band live. The EP was recorded at Studio Klinsj, and produced by Ask Fredrik Berg. |

BUFFALO - DEAD FOREVER
Originally released in 1972 by Vertigo Records. If you love 1970s hard rock and are a Black Sabbath fan, Buffalo will perfectly fit your music shelf. One of the most interesting proposals from Australia, Buffalo debuted in 1972 with this Dead Forever... a massive trip into heavy metal. Two well performed covers, Blues Image's 'Pay My Dues' and 'I'm a Mover' by Free, an astonishing wall of dark sound and macabre cover artwork make Dead Forever a sure gem for whoever enjoys early head banging. |

CLEAR BLUE SKY - CLEAR BLUE SKY
This hard rock/progressive album is now quite sought-after by collectors. The semi-pro band came from Acton, West London and were discovered by Patrick Campbell-Lyons of Nirvana, playing in a local youth club. He signed them to Vertigo in 1970 and the three members were only eighteen when they recorded the above album. In Europe it was re-titled "Play It Loud" and issued in a different sleeve. They split in 1973 and reformed in 1990, when they issued an album of post 1973 outtakes entitled Destiny. SPECIAL COLOURED EDITION IN WHITE. |

CRYSTALLINE - AXE MUSIC
Axe (also known as Axe Music and Crystalline by the time they recorded their rare acetate) were an obscure British psych band leaded by acid-rock guitar player extraordinaire Tony Barford and graced by Vivienne Jones ethereal vocals. In 1970, they recorded a demo album of which only 12 copies were pressed on a 10" acetate. Here's the first ever straight reissue of this legendary artifact, as the previous "reissue" on the Kissing Spell label was altered without the band consent and included new remixed tracks, added echo / phasing effects, altered song titles... Here' you'll find the acetate recordings on its pure form: 100% unadulterated heavy psych and acid-rock sounds full of raw, fuzzed-out guitars and dreamy female vocals. Four impressive original songs plus a long, psyched to the max cover of Love's "A house is not a motel" which has to be heard to be believed. Carefully remastered from an original copy (master tapes were lost) in 24-bit. Unfortunately, no masters survived and no clean copy is known to exist of the original 10", but youll get the best result for the possibilities. New artwork (the original acetate came in blank sleeve), insert with unseen pictures and liner notes by Paul Cross. And if all that wasn't enough, this release includes a CD with the same album plus a bonus 8 minute video track featuring colour silent footage of Crystalline / Axe playing live in 1970 with audio from the acetate added. Footage filmed by no other than Steve Giles (Dark)!!! - "...This is possible the finest example of British underground psychedelia..." Richard Falk, Galactic Ramble - "...Axe did not make a lot of music, but they made some phenomenal music. Some of the best ever to emerge from the swamp of heavy British psychedelia, certainly some of the rarest" Paul Cross, Sweet Floral Albion - Laura's Garden - Rated with the maximum rarity (six *) in Hans Pokora's 5001 Record Collector Dreams book Tracklist: Another sunset, another dawn - Peace of mind - A house is not a motel - Here from there - Crimson nights. |

SPIROGYRA - ST. RADIGUNDS
SPIROGYRA was started in the UK by Martin Cockerham, later joined by the lovely voice of Barbara Gaskin, with able assistance from regulars Julian Cusak, and Steve Borril. Guests usually included, among others, Dave Mattacks of Fairport Convention, on drums. This music has a lyrical, compositional quality, overall. It would have to be considered 'acid folk rock', not too wierd, but with touches of middle eastern, classical, and medieval influence. Ms. Gaskins instrument is her voice, which is the sound of velvet, flowing and...feminine. Adding to that the string pyrotechnics of Cusack-who can play both very avant-garde, as well as down home fiddlin in style, weaving in, above and amongst the songs. Add to that the very busy, fluid, yet always just in the right places bass guitar of Borrill, and you have a group that will give you a taste of the sixties that you never knew existed. |

STORM CORROSION - STORM CORROSION (2LP)
NOW CHANGED TO DOUBLE LP SET!!! The coming to fruition of a meeting of musical minds that has had fans of adventurous, progressive and heavy music shivering with anticipatory excitement for many years, Storm Corrosion is unlike anything you have ever heard. A collaboration between two of the modern eras greatest and most revered artists - Steven Wilson, prolific sonic polymath and frontman with UK prog standard bearers PORCUPINE TREE and Mikael Akerfeldt, leader and chief creative driving force for Swedish progressive metal legends OPETH - it takes the listener on an unprecedented journey into realms yet undiscovered. Joining the talents of perhaps two of the most innovative musicians of our time, Akerfeldt and Wilson started working together on their self-titled disc and found their own sound right out of the gate. Calling it "special, different and intriguing" Wilson described it in detail, saying, "We ran in the opposite direction of the idea of a prog metal supergroup that people had been talking about and expecting from us. It was a chance to delve into more experimental ideas." He continued, "We were being wilfully self-indulgent in the best possible way, making music to please ourselves. Theres something wonderfully pure and liberating about that you can hear that in these songs." Describing their debut disc as "a very unusual and unfamiliar sonic universe," Wilson said that its very exciting to be a part of it all. TRACKLISTING: 01. DRAG ROPES 02. STORM CORROSION 03. HAG 04. HAPPY 05. LOCK HOWL 06. LJUDET INNAN. |

TECHNICOLOR POETS - HADRAR HOTEL (GREEN)
GREEN VINYL VERSION. The music on this LP was recorded at the Underjorden studio in Malmo, Sweden in the summer of 2010. The music follows in the footsteps of many great American West Coast bands of the late 60s era, but also encompasses traditional Asian and Oriential music. Tecnicolor Poets move effortlessly between lengty psychedelic sections and late night chanting pieces woth an almost hymnal atmosphere. This is the future of Swedish acid rock. |

TOAD - TOAD
The first record by one of the most legendary Power Rock-Blues bands of the '70s, Toad, has been finally reissued. Originally released in 1971 on Halleluja (CH), RCA (UK), and Vertigo (D), this album, recorded at "De Lane Lea Studios" and mixed by Martin Birch (sound engineer of Deep Purple and more recently Iron Maiden's producer), showed the world the talent of three young musicians: Vittorio Vergeat, a guitar virtuoso, drummer Cosimo Lampis, and bass player Werner Frohelich, joined for these sessions by vocalist Benj Jaeger, who left the band right after the release as their songs were mainly instrumentals. Toad is one of the best rock albums ever released in Europe during the '70s, and it's praised by fans and collectors as a must have. |

ZIOR - ZIOR
The debut album Zior came out in 1971 and it got attention cause Zior used the same artist that Black Sabbath had used on the first album an artist called Keef. The first album is a knock out fantastic Heavy rock and that album is still one of my favourite albums of that year. Zior was a 4 piece band but, on both albums, the 4th member is missing in the photos. weird! The first album came out on Nepentha Records. Then the band changed to intercord for the release of "Every Inch a Man 1973" and like with the first album, Zior came out with a new masterpiece |

GIGYMEN - GIGYMEN
We are very proud to present the first ever reissue of this lost treasure, originally an obscure private pressing of just 100 copies. Gigymen were a college circuit band from Cambridge who in 1974 recorded their only album at Spaceward Studios. Stunning folk-rock / folk-pop with pro-recorded sound, superb musicianship and strong songwriting. With influences ranging from Fairport Convention to The Beatles, here you'll find some superb folk-rock adaptations of traditional songs such like "As I roved out", "Gypsy Laddie" and "Rocky Road to Dublin" along with fab folk-pop with Beatlesque vocals on tracks like "Plain Jane" or "Gone are the days". The album was originally released with only a blank paper sheet with the credits on the cover so we've designed a new front sleeve for our reissue. Insert with rare pictures and detailed liner notes is also included. Remastered in 24-bit domain from the original master tapes, 180gr vinyl. Tracklist: As I roved out - Gone are the days - Plain Jane - Gypsy laddie - Rocky road to Dublin - Brother Herbert - Crumbledown - Don't let her go. |

BLACK ROSE - LOVESHOCK (BLACK) (+7")
Ltd. 500, 8 page booklet, bonus 7". The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal was far from being one single coherent movement. Geographically it stretched from John O' Groats to Land's End so to say. Or, if you prefer, from Scotland (Edinburgh's Holocaust) to the Channel Islands (Jersey's own Legend). There was even a band active on Gibraltar, namely the fantastic Oracle (in case you really want to stretch things). And we all know that musically it also was a very diverse affair. In the end, only Iron Maiden became superstars (some would argue Def Leppard as well). Saxon endured. The Tygers Of Pan Tang had their fifteen minutes of fame. Most of the bands, however, released just one single and then disappeared forever. Not so Black Rose! Formed in Cleveland in the late 1970's, they showed a lot of promise, recorded two 7" singles, two 12" EP's and two albums but split up before breaking through to the mainstream market. |
