Although they would go on to become one of the most commercially successful acts of the 1970s, most observers agree that Blood, Sweat & Tears 1968 debut effort Child Is Father to the Man remains the ambitious ensembles finest and most enduring musical statement. The bands only album under the leadership of legendary singer/keyboardist Al Kooper, Child Is Father to the Man stands with such late-60s art-pop landmarks as the Zombies Odessey and Oracle and Loves Forever Changes in capturing the periods seemingly limitless creative possibilities. Child Is Father to the Man is a brilliant reflection of the desire of Kooper-a former member of the seminal Blues Project and a key collaborator in Bob Dylans early electric work-to use an expanded instrumental lineup to explore a broader range of sounds, styles and compositional approaches. Towards that end, he launched Blood, Sweat & Tears, recruiting a stellar assortment of players from the worlds of rock and jazz, including ex-Blues Project guitarist Steve Katz, former Buffalo Springfield/Mothers of Invention bassist Jim Fielder, jazz drummer Bobby Colomby and noted jazz horn players Randy Brecker, Dick Halligan, Fred Lipsius and Jerry Weiss. The resulting album (produced by fabled studio genius John Simon) was a seamlessly eclectic psychedelic-rock-jazz-classical fusion, with such diverse tracks as Koopers gritty compositions "I Cant Quit Her" and "I Love You More Than Youll Ever Know," as well as his playfully arty "House in the Country" and "The Modern Adventures of Plato, Diogenes and Freud," along with stirring readings of Tim Buckleys "Morning Glory," Harry Nilssons "Without Her" and Randy Newmans "Just One Smile." Koopers expansive musical vision may have been a bit too far ahead of its time. Although it was a favorite of early FM album-rock DJs, Child Is Father to the Man barely scraped the Billboard Top 50 and failed to produce a hit single. However, in the years since, the album has been widely recognized for its expressiveness and originality, and embraced by successive generations of listeners. For instance, it received a prominent placement in Rolling Stones 2003 ranking of the 500 greatest albums of all time. Now, Child Is Father to the Man is back in its original vinyl format with Sundazeds definitive new LP edition. The work of visual artist, photographer and film artist Peter Downsbrough has had a major impact on the perception of art. In the early sixties Downsbrough interrupted his studies in architecture at the University of Cincinnati and Cooper Union in New York in order to work as a sculptor. A decade after his first exhibition in New York (1962) the artist gained international recognition, and has been exhibiting regularly in the United States and Europe since 1972. The varied work of the artist-ranging from sculpture and books to photography, video, and film-maintains a complex relationship with architecture and typography, while also drawing on the achievements of the early avant-garde (Bauhaus, De Stijl) and Minimal Art. In terms of form, the work of Downsbrough is highly rigorous and exhibits a powerful geometric sense, restricting itself primarily to the use of line, plane, negative space (cutting away), and delimitation. In addition to his spatial manipulations, the artist also has a keen interest in place, as is evidenced in his cartographical works and city photographs. Released on the heels of the artists game-changing Nashville Skyline, Self Portrait offered a quirky assortment of studio and live tracks, encompassing Dylan originals as well as covers of familiar pop and folk numbers, recorded with an all-star musical cast. At the time of its original release, the sprawling, unconventional Self Portrait generated an immense amount of discussion and disagreement amongst Dylans admirers. The ongoing controversy surrounding the album has been fueled over the years by Dylan himself. At various times, Dylan has defended Self Portrait as a heartfelt artistic statement, dismissed it as a joke and described it as a concerted effort to escape the pressures of his unwanted status as the voice of a generation. Self Portraits highlights include the Dylan originals "Wigwam," later featured in the Wes Anderson film The Royal Tenenbaums; "Living the Blues," subsequently covered by artists ranging from Leon Redbone to Antony Hegarty; and "The Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo)," which Manfred Mann had turned into a British Invasion hit in 1968. The latter song is one of a quartet of live tracks drawn from Dylans legendary performance with The Band at the historic Isle of Wight festival, along with memorable versions of the Dylan standards "Like a Rolling Stone," "Minstrel Boy" and "She Belongs to Me." Also featured are Dylans readings of a variety of outside material, ranging from his iconic interpretation of the rural folk song "Copper Kettle" to his distinctive takes on such familiar tunes as Paul Simons "The Boxer," Gordon Lightfoots "Early Mornin Rain" and the vintage Everly Brothers hits "Let It Be Me" and "Take a Message to Mary." Regarded by many as the first Japanese progressive rock group, the Far East Family Band featured the keyboardist and future new age composer, Kitaro. A keyboard-dominated space rock band, the Far East Family Band played extended compositions that brought comparisons to Tangerine Dream and early Pink Floyd. Nipponjin, the bands second album under their new name (the trio changed their name from Far Out to Far East Family Band following the release of Nihonjin which appeared on the Denon label in 1973) following , featured re-recorded material from the previous, The Cave Down To Earth as well as Nihonjin and was produced by Tangerine Dreams Klaus Schultz. The bands synthesiser-drenched sound had much to do with the meeting of keyboard player and soon to be new age composer Kitaros meeting with Schultz during a trip to Europe. One of Japans earliest prog bands, Far East Family became hugely popular in Japan and also achieved considerable attention in Europe too. Behind this enigmatic pseudo, borrowed from his grandmother, actually lies Roger Roger, uber-prolific French composer of several hundred records for TV, theatre and radio and doted with an immediately recognisable style that mixes classicism with the avant-garde. He quickly foresaw the revolutionary potential of new emerging technologies through time spent at the ORTF. His music would never be the same again. As of the endof the 60s, he would throw himself into musical experimentations, combining prehistoric beat boxes with the intense use of synths, and began to niftily mix acoustic, electric and electronic music. "Pop Electronique" is the perfect, successful culmination of his off the beaten track explorations. A crazed record composed of a super groovy A side, bringing together strong jerks and Dadaist moog deflagrations, and a much more minimal, strictly electronic B side. French soundtrack composer and autodidact François de Roubaix (1939-1975) was one of the first to use (frequency) modulators (Moog, Korg) on an 8 tracks home studio. He died too soon in a diving accident, nevertheless not unknown for his melodic works mixing electronic and acoustic: he has immortalised a number of French classical movies in the sixties and seventies, amongst others l'Homme Orchestre, Dernier Domicile Connu, les Aventuriers and the famous animation series Chapi Chapo. François de Roubaix' oeuvre has been sampled by multiple producers. This release devotes on a double vinyl a posthumous work "l'Antarctique", composed after an order by the Commander Cousteau for one of his documentaries. This work has been taken very seriously by the diving fan that François de Roubaix was. The Commander finally refused the electronic composition, probably because too avant-garde for its time, so it has remained unknown for a long time and this is the first time it is edited in vinyl. The Use Of Ashes' previous full-length White Nights: The Hand Of Tzafkiël saw them return to their roots as a psychedelic folk ensemble. Still marked by their experimental excursions into the realms of sound art and remixes, however, it was also an eccentric and gloomy work, combining tender melodic pieces with ghostly drones and surreal collages. White Nights: Glowing Lights is a direct continuation of its predecessor's approach, but places even greater importance on the band's talents as intuitive songsmiths. As a result, the focus of these occasionally no more than two minute long tracks is firmly on acoustic guitars and Peter van Vliet's voice, with organs, sitars, tablas as well as an array of vintage analogue synthesizers providing a colourful backdrop. The dark, claustrophobic and nightmare-like ambiance of The Hand Of Tzafkiël has evaporated and given way to a more luminous, airy and laminar sound - especially so in floating instrumental sections filled with undulating harmonics and dreamy mellotron melodies. As has been revealed, the record is the second volume in an ambitious cycle of interconnected releases. The Use Of Ashes have certainly entered a new period of prolific productivity after a relatively quiet phase spent with re-evaluating the future of the project: even though glowing lights contains enough ideas to see other bands through an entire career, yet more white nights material is to follow soon. "Essential Instrumentals". The first half of the '60s was a perfect test ground for whoever wanted to make a record for a fistful of dollars. The 45 rpm was the king of the place and among the other genres of the day, instrumentals occupied a sizeable chunk of the production. The best-known instrumentals came from California in the late '50s, thanks to the surfers who quickly adopted this new guitar sound from Texas. Another compilation album in this series will be devoted to some of those artists. Simultaneously, all over the United States bands started recording lots of diverse and surprising instrumental tracks. They did so for various reasons: lack of a good singer, filler for a B side, a shot at the charts with a different, jukebox-ready mix of an already released song. This Heavy Jelly collection focuses on tunes mainly dominated by a sax and organ, and always backed by a strong rhythm section. These tracks were shamelessly designed to fill up the dance floor. The mark of a good instrumental was often a gimmick, i.e. that little something - a riff, an intro, a repetitive chord - that would act as the piece's signature item. There is nothing fun or pedestrian about dreams that are uncompromising to the point of reality. The shaking notes that make up "Folding Space" were recorded by two people holed up in their whole respective imaginations of visions of loops, layers and pleading lyrics. It is stubborn but not ugly, nearly one hour of music set in studios buried by blizzards of the American Great Lakes region. Cages is Nola Ranallo and David Bailey. They practiced, moved apart, relayed tapes through the mail, revised the entire damned thing, and then rejoined to capture every last seizure on this record. They sought sounds from the same dreams that give fools belief and colorfully punctuate the nights of the sanest. It's sometimes pretty ("Lost Lipids") or crushing ("Psalm to Mother"; "If It Flies, It Dies") or left hanged in the speakers ("Dying"). There are elements of dreamy ether and discomfort rather than the easy choruses and catchphrases of the most collected and consumed art form. And, then, youll find a song radiating another thing entirely. (sweetness? The Devils hand?). Live, the duo transfers their forged and found music into a very personal presentation that soars above the casually talking show-goers, the poor man's jazz bands, and the art house showboats. Patrons and fellow musicians are pulled in; sounds are pushed out but never apart. "Folding Space" is a foot to the honest and hard road, which can quickly cut away the uncurious and reward the rest like the tapes listened to repeatedly in the fevers of your youth. Last year we released "Break-A-Way", a collection of her compositions performed by everyone from Brenda Lee, Bobby Vee and P.J. Proby to Irma Thomas, Wynona Carr and the Byrds. But no-one could interpret her songs better than Jackie herself, and here on the first of three volumes we turn our attention to her own singles, many of which have never been released on CD before. Spanning the years 1960-1963, "You Won't Forget Me" comprises the A- and B-sides of her first dozen Liberty 45s, all presented in their glorious original mono mixes. This reissue by Headstone, a hard rock quartet from Indiana was their only album release. They were discovered by a local producer from Ohio, who owned the label "Starr-Records" and went there to record "Still looking" (further they released 3 three non-lp 45 records, which are 6 bonustracks on this CD & 3 on LP). In the psychedelic underground collectors scene the album got established as a classic psych-hard-rock rarity. Their sound is strong and melodic with awesome guitar/organ leads, solid bass and catchy vocals. Their natural float creates a hypnotic atmosphere and makes you listen to this album again and again. at all their musical spirit is closer to the end 60s blend, than the recording year 1974 reflects, and sometimes they remind of the early Bloodrock stuff. Acid Archives (Patrick Lama): "The opening seven minute title track is a killer journey through local underground guitar psych, and there's plenty more good stuff aboard including some more lyrical moves. Lingouf's second album on Ant-Zen illustrates a further exploration into this artist's very special aural and visual thinking. To him, music and the corresponding artwork are allegories of a general emotion - moments of happiness brought by love, but importantly happiness overlaid with the knowledge of sadness, melancholy and loss. 'Ange' (angel) and 'Gruikk' (Lingouf's onomatopoeia for distorted mind / thoughts) can be seen as ensigns for this symbiotic emotion. Which is also represented on the front cover: a homage to the 1594 French painting, 'Portrait of Gabrielle d'Estres and Duchesse de Villars'. On this release's six tracks, Lingouf allows each composition to blossom and transform. From the megrim of 'Le Carnaval des Animaux' (influenced by the programme music cycle of the same name composed by Camille Saint Saëns in 1886), the drifty bass pulses/beat shuffles on 'Ange et Gruikk' and 'Garage', the straight and partly distorted floor burners 'Vifoogy' and 'St-Geniez' and lastly the broken beats and rich melodic layers of 'Dorpramepasu'. 'Ange et Gruikk' abducts the listener into a very unique cosmos of deep spheres, sounds, emotional atmospheres and hypnotizing sonic playfulness. Arthur Lees seminal work as leader of the 60s band Love is treasured by discerning rock fans around the world. Lees status as one of his eras preeminent musical cult heroes has grown immensely in recent years, leading to generations of new fans rediscovering the artists remarkable catalog. Unfortunately, Lee and the bands body of available recordings is relatively small, making Sundazed Musics release of a previously-unheard full-length vintage Arthur Lee and Love album a major musical event. Love Lost was recorded in 1971, during a brief, little-known period during which Love was signed to Columbia Records. Lee and the then-current Love lineup-bassist Frank Fayad, guitarist Craig Tarwater and drummer Don Poncher-recorded an albums worth of new material for the label. But after the band left the company, the recordings sat unreleased and unheard until now. The material on Love Lost-comprised of the unreleased Columbia sessions, plus five unreleased acoustic demos from the same period-captures Love in a transitional phase, charting the next step in Lees idiosyncratic musical trajectory, following the lush garage-psychedelia of the classics Da Capo and Forever Changes, and the bluesier direction of the hard-rocking False Start and Out Here. Many of the songs included on Love Lost would resurface, often in radically different form, on subsequent Love releases, and on Lees fabled solo album Vindicator. But the original versions included on Love Lost boast a playful looseness thats absent from most of Lees later work, as well as a raw, edgy urgency that underlines his credentials as an early progenitor of punk-rock attitude. Love Lost also features three songs-"For a Day," "Trippin & Slippin" and "C.F.I. Instrumental"-that have not previously been released, in any form. With a treasure trove of vintage Love music that has never before been heard by fans, Love Lost is a major addition to Arthur Lee and Loves body of work, and its release is a major event for Lees fervent fan base. This release commemorates 25 years of existence for the group, as well as the 20th anniversary of these concerts. In 1989 Miriodor was a trio of musicians, keyboardist Pascal Globensky, drummer Rmi Leclerc and saxophonist Sabin Hudon. The emergence of MIDI as a viable technology allowed the group to add more orchestral flavors to their complex instrumental compositions, and they were functioning at a high level as a touring unit, having played FIMAV in 1988 and performing in France and Belgium in 1989 before returning home to play additional concerts in Quebec. The material on Live 89, 12 tracks in all totaling over 50 minutes of music, covers their self-titled release and early versions of material that would end up being on the third album, "3rd Warning". In addition there are five pieces that have never appeared on another album and display the high degree of quality we have come to expect from this group. These pieces are taken from concerts in France, Montreal, and Quebec City. One of Quebec's most unique groups, straddling the border between rehearsal-intensive progressive rock and the free exploration of musique actuelle, this live document is an important part of their history. Four years in the making, Analog Africa finally presents the second volume of Africa's funkiest band, the mythical Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou. Volume One (The Vodoun Effect - Funk & Sato from Benins Obscure Labels, 1973 - 1975), released by Analog Africa at the end of 2008, was a collection of amazing lo-fi recordings produced for various labels around Benin. Volume Two showcases superbly recorded tracks, courtesy of the EMI studios in Lagos, Nigeria, one of the best studios in the region. All tracks here were recorded for the mighty Albarika Store label and its enigmatic producer, Adissa Seidou. The idea for this compilation was born five years ago when Samy Ben Redjeb, Analog Africa's founder and compiler, first heard the addictive funk track "Malin Kpon O" (included here), which was originally released in 1975 on Albarika Store. That discovery triggered the compiler's curiosity and what followed was a long journey through the musical history of Benin and the history of its most important ambassador, Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou who started as a children entertainment group and went on to become one of the greatest bands of their era. The four year journey involved criss-crossing Benin, Togo and Niger trying to get hold of the bands recording output which were found in record stocks and had laid untouched for a quarter of a century, reviewing reels and master tapes at the headquarters of Albarika Store, conducting interviews with all the living members of the band, searching for pictures of the Orchestre and licensing the music from the composers and producer. The result: approximately 100 pictures, 120 master tapes, 20 hours of interviews and a few hundred Orchestre Poly-Rythmo vinyl records - 500 songs in total - some of which previously unreleased. Almost half of those tracks were recorded for Benin's number one label - Albarika Store. Fifteen out of 200 tracks were carefully selected for this compilation which comes with a massive 44-page booklet filled with amazing pictures of the band, a complete discography and a biography tracing the band from its foundation as Groupe Meloclem in 1964 via Sunny Blacks band (1965), Orchestre Poly-Disco (1966), El Ritmo (1967) and finally Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou in 1968. During the period presented here -1969 to 1979- the mighty Orchestre was without any doubt one of Africa's most innovative groups. Capable of playing any style of music, the band moved from traditional Vodoun rhythms to Funk, Salsa or Afro-beat seamlessly and quickly became the powerhouse of Benin's music scene, backing most of Africa's stars touring the country, such Manu Dibango, Ernesto Djedje, Bella Bellow, as well as supporting an array of local composers, such as Honore Avolonto, Antoine Dougbé and Danialou Sagbohan. Given the size of the tiny country one could think that Poly-Rythmo must have been too big a fish for such a small pond, but the more one understands Benin's culture and traditions the more it appears that a phenomenon such as Orchestre Poly-Rythmo couldn't have happened anywhere else. Some of the planet's most exciting rhythms are related to the complex Vodoun religion born in Benin. Those rhythms, supported by chants and dances, have been transmitted from generation to generation and are still being performed to this date, a few hundred years after they were created. The composers and arrangers of Orchestre Poly-Rythmo understood that they were surrounded by a gold mine of inspirational sounds which, if modernised and mixed in with whatever was in fashion at that particular moment, could have a strong impact on the urban population. Those astonishing combinations can be heard here: Afro-Beat, Sato, Funk, Sakpata, Psychedelia and Latin sounds all mixed into a heavy hypnotic sound - Les Echos Hypnotiques. 		60s/70s SOUL/FUNK/AFRO

Nobody's sure if the musicians on this recording ever performed as a group or whether Ceremony was simply a studio super project. Certainly guitarist Kimio Mizutani had already enjoyed a certain amount of crticial exposure following stints with Love Live Life + One and Masahiko Satoh's Sound Breakers and it is Satoh's jazzy fuzz guitar licks that help to lift this album to a higher level. Unfortunately this was the ensembles only album, but the concept work, Ceremony - Buddha Meets Rock, is an absolute classic. As the title suggests, this 1971 recording was an attempt to fuse Buddhist-influenced spiritual vibe into an innovative oriental form form of hypnotic psychedelic prog rock. All in all a rather weird record but the sound is mindblowing - experimental and trippy, but never too free or over the top, and at times a more traditional Japanese style of music lurks in the background. The Use Of Ashes' previous full-length White Nights: The Hand Of Tzafkiël saw them return to their roots as a psychedelic folk ensemble. Still marked by their experimental excursions into the realms of sound art and remixes, however, it was also an eccentric and gloomy work, combining tender melodic pieces with ghostly drones and surreal collages. White Nights: Glowing Lights is a direct continuation of its predecessor's approach, but places even greater importance on the band's talents as intuitive songsmiths. As a result, the focus of these occasionally no more than two minute long tracks is firmly on acoustic guitars and Peter van Vliet's voice, with organs, sitars, tablas as well as an array of vintage analogue synthesizers providing a colourful backdrop. The dark, claustrophobic and nightmare-like ambiance of The Hand Of Tzafkiël has evaporated and given way to a more luminous, airy and laminar sound - especially so in floating instrumental sections filled with undulating harmonics and dreamy mellotron melodies. As has been revealed, the record is the second volume in an ambitious cycle of interconnected releases. The Use Of Ashes have certainly entered a new period of prolific productivity after a relatively quiet phase spent with re-evaluating the future of the project: even though glowing lights contains enough ideas to see other bands through an entire career, yet more white nights material is to follow soon. "Essential Instrumentals". The first half of the '60s was a perfect test ground for whoever wanted to make a record for a fistful of dollars. The 45 rpm was the king of the place and among the other genres of the day, instrumentals occupied a sizeable chunk of the production. The best-known instrumentals came from California in the late '50s, thanks to the surfers who quickly adopted this new guitar sound from Texas. Another compilation album in this series will be devoted to some of those artists. Simultaneously, all over the United States bands started recording lots of diverse and surprising instrumental tracks. They did so for various reasons: lack of a good singer, filler for a B side, a shot at the charts with a different, jukebox-ready mix of an already released song. This Heavy Jelly collection focuses on tunes mainly dominated by a sax and organ, and always backed by a strong rhythm section. These tracks were shamelessly designed to fill up the dance floor. The mark of a good instrumental was often a gimmick, i.e. that little something - a riff, an intro, a repetitive chord - that would act as the piece's signature item. This compilation has been culled from the original 45s. -Dr. Boogie. "Unexpected Sounds For The Conoisseur". Perhaps the first question should be why? For what warped reason did some misguided record executive think that any of the music contained within this compilation was worth releasing on a commercial basis? Whose twisted vision saw these tracks racing up the charts? In fact, who thought that anybody, apart from those with an equally cracked view of the world, would rush to their local disc boutique to snap up even one of these bizarre items? But then again, perhaps it doesnt really matter at all, and we should just be grateful that these skewed slices of strangeness were pressed up and are still to be found lurking in dark corners of dust-shrouded record racks, charity shops, boot fairs and flea markets. Mick Dillingham has devoted many years of vinyl hunting to unearthing the obscure, the peculiar, and in some cases the downright disturbing. Here, Psychic Circle is delighted to present a selection of his personal favourites. Thrill to a Yiddish version of Rock Around The Clock, groove to a song about aliens landing in Northampton, sit open-mouthed at the late Michael Elphicks deeply worrying paean to kidnap and date-rape (it cant be, can it?), weep along with the moving tribute to Sefton, the cavalry horse blown up by the IRA. Was the Iron Curtain in place to keep out Western forces, or was it to keep groovy music like this in? Secret underground grooves that explode with the power of a thousand ICBMs! This is a rollicking tour through the old Eastern Bloc; groups hailing from Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and the former Czechoslovakia hell bent on proving that, despite their incarceration, they had perfected the decidedly British and American sound that makes up this rare and unique mix of psych/rock. The album slows down only twice; two ballads, both released in the former Czechoslovakia, are sung in English. Both are beautiful. For the rest, theres heavy bass lines, consonant clusters, occasional horn support and searing fuzz guitar punctuation. From an early Illes (Hungary) with added crowd noises and a Mersey-esque take on R&B, to a later Illes with flute and closely-miked slide guitar and wall of strings, this collection rocks. Unavailable for years on LP and never on CD, public demand has prompted Past & Present to give this soundtrack/compilation the release it deserves. 'Biguine, Afro & Latin Sounds from the French Caribbean, 1963-74'. A look at the unique and overlooked sounds from the islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Lilting biguines, heavy gwo ka drums and tumbélé rhythms collide with the sounds of the carnival. Haitian, Congolese and Puerto Rican influences are added to the pot in a percussive celebration of Afro-Caribbean spirit. Often overlooked in the English speaking Caribbean, the scattering drums and soaring clarinets of the biguine ruled the airwaves and dancefloors of Martinique and Guadeloupe in the 1960s. IMAAD WASIF is a rock musician who came of age in the Coachella Valley of the 1990s. Wasif kept his sound stripped down in his revered indie rock outfits LOWERCASE and ALASKA. During these early years, he also played live and in the studio with THE FOLK IMPLOSION. In 2006 Kill Rock Stars released Wasif's self-titled solo debut, an acoustic psych gem which had a lean, hushed intensity. Around the same time he was enlisted as a touring guitarist and opening act for the YEAH YEAH YEAHS. Wasif then self-released Strange Hexes in March 2008, which was recorded with his band TWO PART BEAST (BOBB BRUNO and ADAM GARCIA) and will be re-released by Tee Pee Records in 2010. Wasif's latest opus, The Voidist, recorded again with the help of Two Part Beast. The album features guests DALE CROVER (MELVINS) and GREG BURNS (RED SPAROWES) and was recorded by CHAD BAMFORD (WEEZER) with additional recordings by MATHIAS SCHNEEBERGER (OBSESSED, GUTTER TWINS). Having gained a reputation for his intense live shows while opening for RTX, The Raconteurs, Neko Case, Arthur Lee's Love and Sebadoh, Wasif has plans for an extensive tour in the fall of 2009. Imaad Wasif can also be found playing guitar on "Little Shadow" from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' latest album It's Blitz!, and Lou Barlow's new solo album, Goodnight Unknown. His collaboration with Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Bradford Cox (Deerhunter), and "Little" Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs, Dead Weather) on the score for the Spike Jonze directed film adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are hits theaters in October.
