Summers, Harvey
Moon
Harvey Summers is a composer, musician, producer and multi-instrumentalist best known for his instrumental solo albums, film and television music, such as 'Doctor Who', 'The X-Factor' and 'American Idol' to name a few. Summers' career has been long and varied, spanning more than three decades. His recent albums have been compared to those of Vangelis, Kitaro and Hans Zimmer. In his breathtaking soundscapes, vintage electronics, historical acoustic instruments and the latest synthesizer technology merge seamlessly with melodic and emotional orchestral compositions. Summers set up another studio at his home, where he composed and recordrd music for an album inspired by his lifelong interest in outer space, space travel and the moon landing. The result is 'Moon', a cinematic work that brought Harvey Summers back to his musical and instrumental roots.
