An exact repro vinyl reissue of a rare soul and hard funk album from 1971 that is something of a holy grail amongst soul collectors, and not only beacuse it's impossible to find an original. This one's chock full of breakbeats and oh so DJ friendly tracks. The LP includes a great, highly energetic, version of James Brown's 'There Was A Time' and other excellent compositions. The sound here is a bit tougher than we know from Marvin with his later band, Marvin Holmes & Justice.
