Belchsingersonggrinder started in winter 2000 as a oneman rock-act, playing drums, guitar and vocals at the same time. It sounded as a mix of Captain Beefheart with the heaviness of noiserock like Unsane. Belchsingersonggrinder played around, made recordings in Holland and abroad. After a while he wanted to add more color in the soundspectrum and more variation in structures, so the music changed into a more impro and freeform craziness, still with strong percussive elements. From time to time it touched experimental sound-art. He began to use tapeloops and his homebuild electronics. Belchsingersonggrinder as a noise-act. Hysterical. And after some years he wanted to change it again, revise his actions. The 7" vinyl 'Siblings Estate' b/w 'Indian Laundryservice': Two songs originally composed on toy-organ and cardboard box. A little bit of a turn in my way of making music; more planned, less chaotic freeform noise. More use of his homebrew-electronics and a very organised way of recording/production. These two songs were the start of a whole series of new songs and approach of making music; simple structures recorded on cassette first, then further developed. The new work became, light, undistorted, clear, sometimes funny even.
