"The Magus" is the second album from Universal Totem Orchestra after the debut titled "Rituale Alieno" (Black Widow Records, BWR 022, 1999), and describe a host of influences to create a dark and dense experience such a combination of the grandeur of the best symphonic rock with the repetitive intensity of zeuhl music. It's a jazz/rock simphonyc composition which concludes a Trilogy ("Hidden Opera", "Rituale Alieno", "The Magus") dedicated to the Human Alienation; from the most esoteric state to the most psychal complex one, crossing extreme forms of analysis and autoanalysis
The Orchestra musicians are: the drummer, composer and founder Uto G.Golin; the vocalist Ana Torres Fraile and the saxophonist Antonio Fedeli (they are both performers on "Rituale Alieno").
The new members, who had composed the music of "The Magus" together with UTO G.Golin, are: bassist Yanik Lorenzo Andreatta, keyboardist Fabrizio Mattuzzi and the guitarist The Unknown Daniele Valle.
