The third ( r ) album took almost two years to finish, because Fabrizio Modonese Palumbo was very busy with Larsen & XXL, and because it came to life during troubled & sometimes painful times. Whereas previous album Under the Cables, Into the Wind was very warm & relaxed, In Pink is pretty extreme, swinging between joy & fear with introspective, moody songs & explosions of desperately optimistic energy. Still, it is more a diary than an exorcism, including Palumbo's versions of an Irish traditional theme (which Johnny Cash interpreted on one of his American albums) and Joy Division's classic "Atmosphere." Features contributions from Paul Beauchamp (Blind Cave Salamander, Steve McKay Band), Ango (Mariae Nascenti), il Bue (Larsen), and the amazing Baby Dee.
