Q: What is it all about?

A: Our website is updated at least once a day by adding all new releases –incl. descriptions- and mentioning titles which are no longer available and/or out of print.

Our entire catalogue can be browsed online. Searching can be done by label, artist name, title and format.

The mentioned prices do not include costs of shipping/transportation. These costs are for the customer. Goods are sold at prices as mentioned in the order confirmation of Shiny Beast. Shiny Beast however has the right to change it's prices at anytime after confirmation of a customer's order (in order to include unexpected increases of production costs and/or currency fluctuations).

Q: Do you have a specific release I’m looking for?

A:

Probably! We currently have more than 110.000 titles in our catalogue which we update daily You can use our search engine to find a specific band, album or label you’re looking for, or just browse titles per genre. 

Q: How do I place an order?

A: To place an order you will need to create a customer account first. When you’ve signed up and logged in you can add items to your basket and check out.  After receiving your order,  you’ll receive a payment request  by email. Payments are accepted via PayPal, credit card or bank transfer. Unless when you have ordered items NOT in stock. In this case you’ll receive an automatic update during the weekend ( Backorder report) which shows the status of your order. Open means still not in stock, reserved means that your order will be processed asap.

 

Q: When will my order be delivered?

A:

We will have the goods delivered at the shipping address as supplied by customer. We will notify the customer if there are no suitable ways to dispatch placed orders within thirty (30) days.  

 

I have ordered  item (s)  not in stock, what is the procedure?

You’ll get an email explain how long it might take to have your order delivered. If it takes up to two or three weeks ( or even longer because it’s not released yet/change of release date etc) you will receive a weekly automatic send backorder report.  

Q: How will my order be delivered?

A: We will have the goods delivered at the shipping address as supplied by customer. We will make all reasonable endeavours to dispatch orders within two (2) working days, but under some circumstances this however won’t be possible. We will notify the customer if there are no suitable ways to dispatch placed orders within thirty (30) days.

Q: What about damaged, missing or wrong items?

A: Immediately upon the customer’s reception of delivered (ordered) goods, the customer has to inspect the shipment and notify us by telephone or email in case of missing items, defects or damage. In case of the latter, the customer will get written ‘instructions’ from us concerning the manner of how to return the wrong or defected items. If the customer fails to notify us within eight (8) days after delivery of the ordered goods, the goods have to be unconditionally accepted by the customer. If we are at fault for sending you the wrong item, you can return this within thirty (30) days after purchase.

Q: Is my package insured?

A: Packages are NOT insured against loss or damage, unless you specifically ask us to insure these. If you do not request insurance, then your order is sent at your own risk. Please ask us about the availability and costs of insurance.

Q: How much are shipping costs?

A:

Our shipping costs can be found in our shipping costs table. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the package and where it’s going. Please note that this is only applicable to 7”s, CDs, and LPs. Send us an email if you’re ordering heavier items like books or box sets.

Q: How can I pay?

A: The easiest and quickest way to take care of your payments is by using PayPal. It is a secure website and PayPal doesn’t reveal your credit card number to the person you are sending money to. In order to use PayPal you need to have a credit card or checking account. If you don't have a credit card you can send us an electronic check with PayPal through your bank account. Also available is bank transfer, please ask for details.

Q: I live outside of the European Union, do I have to pay VAT?

A: No, customers outside of the European Union do not have to pay VAT. If you login from a country outside the EU, you'll see the prices mentioned without VAT.

Q: Why is ...this title... not in your database?

A: Right now the only displayed items are the ones we actually have in stock. Of course this changes each day. However, it often will be possible to order items which we don't have in stock. For information re. availablity of unmentioned titles, please send an email to info@shinybeast.nl

Q: How can I change my details?

A: You can change your details, when you're logged in, in your profile.

Q: How can I cancel my order?
