The Parisian shaman Julien Magot offers up a delicious blend of psychedelic drone blues. Like a depressed crocodile hunter, he travels through deserts and forests, seeking the prey that will restore his "smile" (Sourire). This album likes to loose itself as it looses us, while navigating between experimental sounds, ruptures and repetitions, combining voodoo guitars, distant melodies, insistent atmospheres and bayou grooves.
