ELÄKELÄISET - HUMPPASHEIKKAILU (CD/NORDIC NOTES) The new LP from Finland's unique and hilarious purveyors of 'humppa'. You get no less than 17 tunes, full of crazy twists and turns. Don't miss their Haarlem show in April. (For details, see the live section below.)
GALLARA - DELIRIO IN HI-FI (LP-CD/GALLARA) Whether you're into "literature noire", XXX rated comics, spy movies or Bollywood musicals, this instrumental band from Italy provides the perfect soundtrack.
AMAROK/ENTH - SPLIT LP (LP/BOUE RECORDS) This split release is a massive doom assault. ENTH from Poland play funeral doom metal with a strong Corrupted influence. Amarok hail from California and deal in seriously droning doom, with the addition of impressive dual vocals. Suitable for fans of Thou, Cough, Kanate etc. Limited to 500 copies.
ATRIUM CARCERI - RELIQUIAE (CD/COLD MEAT INDUSTRY) A new offering of intense industrial sounds from Simon Heath and his Atrium Carceri. The only sounds that linger in the air are the grinding machines below the surface and the faraway screams from the purgatorial torture chambers.
RAISON D'ETRE - WHEN THE EARTH DISSOLVES IN ASHES (CD/COLD MEAT INDUSTRY) This rewarding release offers 75 minutes of unique sonic expressions, recorded live in 2010 and 2011 in Zürich, Rotterdam, Wuppertal, Leipzig and other European cities. Comes in an appealing 6-panel digipak.
DAHLIA'S TEAR - DREAMSPHERE (CD/COLD MEAT INDUSTRY) A great title from Dahlia's Tear. 'Dreamsphere' provides dark soundscapes, manipulated field recordings and narrative speeches, combined with cold lush strings and raw pad layers. This exclusive CD is presented in a 6-panel digipak with exceptional artwork.
SALA DELLE COLONNE - XX AD (CD/COLD MEAT INDUSTRY) For this new album, 'XX A.D.', Mehmet R. Frugis completely changed his musical directions, now taking inspiration from the majestic elements of classical compositions by Wagner, Sibelius and Mahler. The result is a masterpiece of neoclassical martial music.
GIANLUCA BECUZZI - NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS (CD/SILENTES MINIMA) Almost 70 minutes of music. These nine pieces sound like a sonic mosaic. Structured compositions go hand in hand -or battle- with abstract elements. You'll hear field recordings, drones, electronic hisses, shaken metals, cracklings, human and animal guttural cries, synthetic pads, ethereal and undecipherable voices, mechanical loops and noises from everyday life. The result is a wondrous and unpredictable sound universe, without borders and time.
EZDANITOFF - WE BRING LIGHT (CD/SILENTES MINIMA) Here's an intransigent work of disturbing and destabilizing electronics by Wouter Jaspers and Frans de Waard, especially recommended to listeners from other worlds...
MARIBOR - DE IMMENSO (CD/SILENTES MINIMA) A new release from the Maribor-collective. 'De Immenso' includes contributions from Maurizio Bianchi, Nimh/Giuseppe Verticchio, Andrea Marutti, Gianluca Favaron, a.o.

This edition is limited to 450 copies and comes in a full colour digisleeve with two inserts.
RAPOON - MESSIANIC GHOSTS (CD/AQUARELLIST AQUAREL) Remastered and extended re-release of a long lost classic Rapoon album, originally published on CD-R in 2002 by Austrian label Klanggalerie. Also includes some tracks from 7"es and two new pieces. Limited to 430 copies and comes in a 4-panel full colour digipak with two inserts.
VRESNIT - SEED SOLAR (CD/AQUARELLIST AQUAREL) A release of sparkling cosmic drone ambient, twined from voices, strings, wind instruments, bells, singing bowls, electronic instruments and field recordings. Limited to 484 copies in a full-colour cardboard folder.
CULT OF YOUTH - A STICK TO BIND, A SEED TO GROW (CD/DER ANGRIFF) Reissue of their 2008 debut. Though more "roots rock orientated" nowadays, this old material is recommended to fans of neo-folk in the vein of Death In June, Sol Invictus, etc. This edition includes bonus tracks and is limited to 450 copies. Presented in a special foldout envelope, including cardboard inner sleeve and three postcard inserts with lyrics and photos.
SONNE HAGAL - ONLY ECHOES REMAIN (CD/DER ANGRIFF) Following the sold out releases on DVD and vinyl, now this title appears as a limited edition CD. Contains all the 17 tracks which Sonne Hagal played during their show in St. Petersburg in October 2008. Comes in a special foldout envelope with cardboard inner sleeve and three postcard inserts.
BEAVERS - DON'T GO AWAY (7"/HIGHSCHOOL REJECT) Three screaming howlers by the legendary garage punkers from Groningen. The tracks are 'Don't Go Away', 'Down And Out' and 'Some Other Time'.
60’s & 70’s & 80’s (RE-)RELEASES AND ARTISTS + OTHER OLDIES
VICE SQUAD - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LP/PHR RECORDS) A vinyl issue of the 2009 album by the legendary English '80s punk outfit, fronted by "punk vamp" Beki Bondage.
DISASTER - WAR CRY (LP/LA VIDA ES UN MUS) Originally released in 1991, 'War Cry' was one of the first releases in the entirely Discharge-influenced punk (sub-)genre that would become known as D-Beat. Hailing from Halifax, they were part of a new wave of British bands that worship Discharge's 'Why' as the finest piece on non-music ever recorded. Comes with a booklet full of info, pix, interviews, etc. And the first pressing includes a free flexidisc.
MICK MILK - HALF LIVES (LP+7"/ANNA LOGUE) A notable collection of analogue synth recordings (dating from 1982-1983), compiled from the 'Songs For Citizens' cassette and previously unreleased tracks. Suitable for fans of Richard Bone, Our Daughter's Wedding and also Der Plan or Devo. Limited edition LP plus bonus 7".
EXPECTED RELEASES
CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS
SEE SEE - FOUNTAYNE MOUNTAIN (LP/GREAT POP SUPPLEMENT) Less than a year on from releasing their debut full length, the excellent 'Late Morning Light', The See See return with their second album. Aligning a brash love of U.S. West Coast folk rock and psychedelia to latter day European influences (such as Spacemen 3), the band have created a beautifully dynamic album that merges deliciously spun out ballads with laser guided instrumentals and ritualistic, daisy chained rollercoasters.
ALKIBAR GIGNOR - LA PAIX (LP/MISSISSIPPI-SAHEL SOUNDS) A stunning rock'n'roll LP from one of Mali's most beloved underground garage rock bands. This LP fuses American rock, African soul, a lo-fi punk vibe and acoustic parts, bringing truly unique sounds to our Western ears. The LP includes a cool fold out poster.
BAUMSTAM - 72-12=40 (LP/GREEN TREE) This fine release of new studio recordings (on 180 gram vinyl) celebrates the 40th anniversary of the legendary German Krautrock unit. Includes liner notes from each band member and rare pictures. Edition of 500 copies.
ZONE SIX/VESPERO - THE SPLIT THING (CD/TRANSUBSTANS) As the title already (somewhat) points out, this release is the result of a collaboration between Transubstans Records, Russian act Vespero and Germany's Zone Six. (The latter project/band features members from Electric Moon, The Pancakes, Vibravoid a.o.) The music of course is as psychedelic and spacey as spacerock gets. Far out!
BURNING SAVIOURS - THE OFFERING (7"/NIGHT TRIPPER) Here's the second single in the four-part 'Forbannelsen' series. Expect classic Swedish doom rock in the vein of Witchcraft, Orchid, Cathedral...
EL CAMINO/RISE AND SHINE - SWEDISH ASSAULT: SACRIFICE TO VENOM (7"/NIGHT TRIPPER) Swedish heavy flower power rockers Rise and Shine team up with -equally Swedish- occult doomsters El Camino for a special tribute to the godfathers of all things black metal, Venom. Limited edition of 300 hand numbered copies.
60’s & 70’s & 80’s (RE-)RELEASES AND ARTISTS + OTHER OLDIES
SKEPTICS - THE COMPLETE EARLY YEARS 1965-1969 (CD/GEARFAB) Many US garage rock collectors and enthusiasts consider Oklahoma's undisputed heroes The Skeptics to be the forerunners of the American garage sound of the 1960s!! This exceptional release, featuring all their 45s, alternate takes and a rare unreleased bonus track, offers the band's complete recordings. All in all you get 14 tracks, featuring lead singer Jerry Waugh.
